Mine didnt go down so well. The white man jst wanted me 2 convince him beyond all reasonable doubt, that despite i studied elect elect eng, that i had wat it takes and all motivation 2 venture into pet engr. I did al my best 2 convince him, bt i dnt tink he was totaly satisfied. It realy kind of weighed me down. Tink ive lst hope completely.

Yeah, the white man! When he tried to play games with me i used naija skills on him. lol Ki you were seriousngsley i understand your plight. i was telling a friend the other day that only mechinacal and chemical/petrochemical Engineering graduates really had an excuse to switch over to petroleum.

But if your project is petroleum related or if you should have been reading petroleum books in preparation for the interview. A few petroleum jargons and knowledge about the industry would have convinced him. But All hope is not lost.

I did petroleum Engrg so i didnt have any problems with that aspect. Mine went well.

when are they calling?

They said it would be friday. But since noting happened we have to wait till monday.

i did my interview on monday and i am very hopeful
d last batch were interviewed on monday so we shld see d results by monday
i just hope dis is fair n pple dont come in through the back door.

please can someone tell us why d result is delaying? i tot they were to be out by sunday night. I have barely been able to keep my mind off it. Mine was not dat bad, but i still pray for God's intervention.

Someone there said the result is out, but not yet published, we hope to see it soon, God help us ohhhhhhh!!!!

BEING A CIVIL ENGR, THE WHITE MAN WANTED TO KNOW THE CORRELATION BETWEEN CIVIL AND PET ENGRN AND WHY I WANTED IT SO MUCH. HE ALSO WANTED TO KNOW MY STRENGHTS AND WHAT I HAD BEEN DOING SINCE GRADUATION.ULTIMATELY, I GUESS IT WAS A GOOD INTV BUT ONLY THE FINAL RESULT WILL TELL, WE ONLY HOPE SAY BACKDOORISM NO GO DEY!

Nice Bisi. I am also wishing everyone here the very best. Bisi how did you answer the white mans questions concerning civil and petroleum engineering. Thats a difficult question and one needed to have been prepared for it beforehand.

On my case the white man just wanted to know what i was doing after school. I answered and he didnt probe further.

Prof Asked about my project, being a petroleum guy and lucky for me i revised the night before. I was asked many other questions also. People have refused to discuss, i guess its the anxiety and tension. All the best while we wait. Please wats the latest info

Congrats to those who made the list....it's time to start gathering all resources to pay the acceptance fee and accomodation fees, i think both should add up to about #200,000 or #250,000 as the case may be. Smart guys will keep their ears to the ground for local scholarship opportunities from companies like agip, mobil, shell and so on to support their payment.

hey guyz, I was about buying the form for the IPS stuff wen a lady in there office discouraged me dat , they need only 2'1, and or u must be sent by a company(workd for atleast 2yrs) b4 u can buy the form. Actually, I got 3.41. So I dont know the advise u guys will giv me patterning the admission for 2012. replies needed.thank and wish the successful once gudluck!

Yeah i have been following scholarships in recent times but the only one that came close is Mobil's International and indomie's PGD for nutritionist. Interestingly the link for Mobil's national refuses to come up.maybe they aint doing that now.Hope one comes pretty soon.
