If you subscribe to job alert from JobcenterNigeria-Jobs &Career in Nigeria, you may likely receive a mail that INEC is recruiting Adhoc staff for next year Election registration.
You will be asked to visit a website http://184.106.162.163/iasd/
When i visited the site, i discovered that information such as Bank Account Number and Bank Sort code were been asked.
Anytime i see such thing as Bank detail i always run away from it, cos it's a Scam
so beware see attached pix of the site

Nawaoh! But so many peeps has fallen 4 dis already,especialy 2009 nysc guyz.
I don't know this could be a scam. I heard over the Tele that INEC is recruiting 2009 corpers for the voter card registration exercise. So I logged on to INEC web site & saw the Ad-Hoc staff stuff, all the same bank sort code can not be used to withdraw funds frm ones account rather it is for paying in electronically by the central bank only. U can make more inquiry from ur bank to ascertain this please!!!
So do not worry much if u submitted ur account no & bank sort code non of them is ur signature or cash card (ATM) pin code ok?

In as much as i cannot say for certain dat d website posted above is d correct address,d bank info is actually reqd by d real INEC website..i made enquiries abt d security of givin such info 4recruitmnt b4 i gave it. U ve 2note dat sort code is not differnt for every bank customer,rather it is exactly same 4those bankn in d same branch and varies a little frm branch 2branch. So get ur facts right b4 raisn alarm. U cant be exposed 2risk by givin acct nos except the reciever can sign ur signature& "can look like u", again ur ATM details were not askd for.

How can Ð pple crying Scam as ª result of sort code be that naïve. Somebody wants to steal ur change right? Do they have your signature/ATM? Wisen up mates!

@2busy, it is not a scam, I believe you don't know the meaning of bank account sort code. It represents the actual branch you open your account with. so it was never a scam .
How can someone be so naive to think giving ur account number means it's a scam, na wa o...and you are actually meant to be a graduate!!!
U cant blame the guy he's being cautious...
i have done dis kind of work wit INEC when i was serving. They need ur acc no. Bc thats where they r goin to pay in ur money, d sort code is the banks transaction code, its not urs. Dont panic. D only tin u wuld wory abt is getin ur money. INEC didnt pay some of us. I was among d pple dat were not paid. So pray u get ur doh.
