IDSS called me 4 test and interview b/w 7th and 8th of jan, but because strike it was shifted to a later date not yet known.
PLS IS THERE ANY OTHER FORUMITE CALLED.I NEED HELP. IF THERE IS ANYBODY WHO HAS THE TEST FORMAT OR INTERVIEW TIPS SHOULD PLS HELP. EXPECTING URGENT REPLY. GOD BLSS ALL

When did you guys apply? Again, let us try to share whatever info we get at anytime. It sounds so strange now as u pple are requesting for test format, bt nobody heard when CV were sent.
@ttpsam, mi broda abeg no vex. I didnt evn tak dis mch serious due to d way i receivd d email addres 2 snd mi cv. I jst did it 4 formality.
Ok ooooooo, it is well. I don't know anything abt the coy. Bt u can google it. And if u have GMAT and GRE materials, jst read them for the test. Wishing u bst of luck

wateva,i tink its nt gonna be any different frm other oil servicing tests. Jus dnt knw anytn abt dia mode of operations!
My lil tip 4 folks writing dis test is 2 try and read up things about their operations too, i.e : well logging, wireline operations etc. jst as a safety measure. Dnt stick 2 only GMAT, SHL, GRE.
A similar company dt held test recently took som folks by suprise when they whipped out their test questions, & it ws all about Well logging and Wireline..imagine hw guys who didnt prep 4 dt wld feel.

..and if d company is into Mud Logging too, jst 2b prepared, read up a lil somthin about Basic Geology and Petroleum Geology (whether ur a Geologist or not). Folks who hv written Geoservices test b4 can attest 2 dis.

@KenRepublic: Check Google, Wikipedia, rigzone...ther r lots of short articles about such topics u can use 2 brush ur knowledge up. No need 4 lengthy e-books and materials dt'll get u choked up. Cheers.

Guys, IDSS have started sending out invitation later again, i got mine this afternoon.guys lets chart up b/c they said that the test will be in three stages:1) aptitude test;(2) professional; and (3)discussion on one 'contemporary issue'(one page)

@Ken Republic: Is dt d venue?well, u can stop at Airforce junction and jst stroll frm ther into Stadium rd, U cant miss d Hotel frm ther, u'll see it frm d junction sef.
OR Stop at Elekahia stadium Rd junction, then take a cab goin 2 Airforce, u'll see d Hotel on d left b4 gettin 2 Airforce. Cheers.

Hav a funny feeling abt dis...been in the logging industry for yrs n neva heard abt dem,though someone sent me the email,i applied n was invited n i wonder why one with 6yrs plus exp shld be invited for test(Aptitude)...All invitations ive been to are mainly interviews n hw much they are willy to pay...if okay by me i accept otherwise i reject.I still feel ders no harm trying,if anytin fishy happens on the said day na to waka be dat
