Head, Learning and Professional Programmes

Our engineering consulting firm is in need of qualified candidates to fill the position listed above.

Summary of Job Function
Source and manage participants for the company’s professional and certification programmes. Some of which are but not limited: OPITO, City &Guild, IHRDC e.t.c .

Initiate and manage sponsorship opportunities for candidates of the professional and certification programmes.

Responsibilities
• Source participants for City & Guilds, IHRDC, OPITO and other professional certification programmes
• Manage delivery of all certification programmes
• Source for facilitators for the certification and professional programmes
• Liaise with corporate bodies and manage relationships
• Facilitate training programmes
• Develop new business opportunities
• Developing and managing business partnerships and strategic alliance
• Confer or consult with Departmental head to plan advertising services and to secure information on clients needs and customer specification
• Liaise with potential Customer regarding training and other engineering consulting needs and solutions
• Liaise with Government and other regulatory agencies overseeing training programmes
• Co-ordinate the marketing team for certification and professional programmes


Qualification & Experience
• Minimum of BSc or HND in Engineering or other related fields
• Up to six years experience in Oil and Gas industry (Preferably in OSM)
• Experience in learning and training in the Oil & Gas industry will be an added advantage.
• Oil & Gas consulting background will be highly recommended.
• Not more than 45 years of age.
