It is quite unfortunate am getting this kind of bashing from you guys..I passes the test, was invited for the interview and am believing God am one of the successful ones that will go in for the training. I admire the courage of the guy that came uninvited....fine-dude, he came prepared and even presented better than some of us that were invited and i wont be surprise if he makes it. I think I should refrain from commenting on this Halliburton thing to avoid further embarrassments.

@Zigbo.... You posted this: Ok guys, i got d iv for d interview too. Dy called, sent an sms and a mail too. SMS said we shuld make a 5mins powerpoint presentation of ourselves while coming. I guess dats a cv in Powerpoint format. D mail didnt say anytin much bt dey said we shuld bring writing materials, calculator and id card at d end of d mail.
Please did you hear anything from the interviewers/penelists that the call for interview is on-going? Cos I wrote the test as slated on 7th June. We were told it is better not to travel that people will be called almost immediately. I had to get back to Lagos cos of work and till this moment, I have not heard from them. Still hoping as this is Nigeria. "Some are more equal than some". But if you have concrete info that they have called all those that are needed, kindly intimate the house.
If any of us gets disappointed at any point in time, we only need to have a positive outlook in life and be persistent till we achieve our goals.

I also had my test on the 7th of June, 2012 at Port Harcourt. They got back to me same day (3-4pm) that I was successful in the test and should come for interview. There were 47 shortlisted names, split into two groups (for 11th & 12th June) of 24 & 23 candidates. So I want to assume that for the test written, they have called all who met their cut-off mark (not sure what that was).
Just to clarify things, i do not know any one in Halliburton, and i think most of us that had the interview deserved to be there, based on what some of the guys presented on that day. (not discounting the God Factor of course).
So, for those who made it to the final stage, keep praying for favor; and those who did not, better doors will open up by God's grace. Amen.

those still showing in process there is hope somewhere. well i did the test, interview et al. i applied for sand control, logging and perf. and 2 more positions i cant remember. dont even know what i was shortlisted for.

This should be departmental stuff i.e like individual PSL. Others likely have a way of doing theirs. Did my own interview on Monday.
Did my Interview on Tuesday. Got an sms today for a final selection interview for wps then a call later.
Those that were called for wps pls wat course did you study? I think wps is closely related to geology.

12 pple were invited. 6 pple wrote in PH n 6 pple wrote in Lag. Amongst the 12, only one female (she had her interview on monday as i heard). It was anoda round of ss1, ss2, ss3 maths n physics, d type u wil use ur residual knowledge to answer. They said normally anoda test shldnt hv bin done buh the 12 guys n lady r so good that they dnt knw hu to drop hence the head of wps did anoda round of test to select the pple they want as he doesnt nid 12 pple. accordin to wht we wer told they nid abt 6 - 7 pple. God's grace to us all that partook in d test

That WPS is one department so other should relax. Probably they have been selected for other departments and need not do any more test. Keep hope alive.
