This is a program aimed at developing high-potential, entry-level graduate candidates for key positions in GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Nigeria. The Scheme provides hands-on work experience through assignments across various departments of the company
Business Development Trainees
Our vision is to build a strong talent pipeline across the Sales and Marketing Functions by creating a highly motivated sales team, with a significantly improved skill set. There will be exposure to customer marketing, field sales, marketing and detailing across our strong categories in Nutrition, Wellness and Oral Health.
Manufacturing Trainees
This program offers cross-functional training in engineering, supply chain, quality, project management and environment, health and safety. |
| Key Responsibilities | Working to an Eighteen (1 months’ plan, our Graduate development programme has been created to attract high potential people like you and put you on the fast track to leadership. You will undertake a series of stretching commercial, manufacturing and engineering assignments within our Company, providing you with the opportunity to broaden your global business perspective.
It's almost impossible to predict the future with any certainty. However, it's safe to say that after completing the intensive graduate traineeship programme, you'll be fully equipped with all the expertise and experience you need to take on a leadership position.
Just like there's no one-size-fits-all approach to the training and development we offer, the role you move into will also be based on your individual performance, aspiration and the potentials we see in you. Having said that, it's important to stress the fact that involvement in this programme does not in itself guarantee a leadership position. Instead, we'll be keeping a close eye on your performance throughout the programme to ensure you're exhibiting the necessary high performance behaviours. There are no limits to success here, so it's up to you to prove yourself. |
| Qualifications, Experience | Our preferred candidate must:
Have and display a high level of integrity, transparency and respect for people.
Be a good team player, able to think innovatively, customer driven and always seeking continuous improvement
Have 0-2 years working experience (including NYSC experience)
Not be more than 26 years old by 30th November 2011 |
| Competencies | Very good numerical & analytical skills
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word

then i must give kudos to cadbury for at least making it 28yrs. let them go and book their babies from their mothers for employment.
this must stop, this is nigeria where anything can keep someone from having graduated at the right age. something must be done fast, because we will have a situation where a more intelligent 27year old person is denied an opportunity only to be given to a no as brilliant person because he meets d age citerion.
nothing like age limit for jobs abroad, only in nigeria can these corporations get away with such mess as this

You said it all. Various disruptions of the academic calendar resulting from regular ASUU strike and internal school probs such as students rioting and SUG protest resulting into violence, disagreement among the top hierarchy resulting in academic suspension e.t.c. all contributes to reasons why a grad spends extra years in school and still the coys don't bloody care. It's only in Naija that they stipulate all these unwarranted conditions and get away with it.
I hope one that we all right the wrongs.

@ikorobata. I have completed mine. I guess there is something you haven't filled. I was getting the same message until I noticed my error. Go over it again and this time try not to do any other thing until you have completed the form or else you'll be logged out if you are idle. Good Luck.
