Federal College of Education (Tech) Akoka, Lagos – Applications are invited from
suitably qualified candidates in the underlisted positions:
1.) School of Science Education
a.) Principal Lecturer
Computer Education
Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of Masters Degree (M.Sc) in
relevant field(s) from a recognized institution with at least 11 years relevant
cognate experience OR Doctorate Degree (PhD) in relevant area from a recognized
institution with a minimum of 9 years in research/teaching field.
Candidate should also have:
Three papers accepted for publication in reputable journals.
Not less than 3 meaningful chapter contributions in standard textbook(s).
One Standard textbook.
Any of (i), (ii), and (iii) above plus three (3) Conference/Seminar papers.
Evidence of ability to provide academic/ Administrative leadership and
Community service.
Demonstrate ability to initiate and supervise applied project/exhibition/
production.
Registration with a recognized professional body.
b.) Senior Lecturer
Biology Education
Computer Education
Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of Masters Degree (M.Sc) in
relevant field(s) from a recognized institution with at least 6 years on-the-job
cognate experience with proven ability for applied research and production work
OR Doctorate Degree (PhD) with at least 6 years cognate experience.
Candidate should also have:
Demonstrate ability to initiate and supervise applied project/exhibition of
copy technology
Two additional papers accepted for publication in reputable journals.
Not less than two meaningful chapter contribution in standard textbook(s).
Any of (ii) and (iii) above plus 2 conference/seminar papers.
Academic and administrative leadership.
