@Georgejob; the in-tray exercise is a 1 hour exercise to test your priorities in decision making
You assume a position in an organisation, usually a middle management position, where you report to a few, but have many others reporting to you among which you can delegate some duties.
It starts as a normal day at work, you have to work your way through the mails in you in-tray(in-box) and make decisions you can defend.
