hello everyone,has anyone received confirmatn email with reference number? wat happens since d app deadline is fast approaching and boix r finding it difficult to successfully submit app? and anyone with gist of mobil skill test for mech engr should pls hint us abeg. seems dis yr's edition aint moving properly.

hi sammie. I have tried for several days to send in my application unsuccessfully.after filling in my details, the 'Next' button at the end of the page does not take me anywhere, pls what can i do? pls those that have applied, how did you go about it?

To all that are are finding it difficult to apply, here is the way out. Use opera mini 4.5 multi server. Its the bomb. Every thing shows

I applied but av not got a confirmation mail too. I hope Mobil will be fair with the shortlisting this time around. I applied last year, got a confirmation mail yet not shortlisted for test. I pray everything will be right this time around.

@success47: When I applied last year, it didn't take long b4 I received the confirmation mail. It was almost immediately after I applied. I dnt know why I've not seen the confirmation now. I hope Mobil is not trying to be worse than last year.

then i guess there is a possibility that they will extend the application period, or they will send the reference numbers after the application window has closed. anyway, anyone with info on mech engineering test format can help be posting it here or can email me on [email protected]

Please guys, i want to know if esso scholarship has closed for this year. After filling out the first page on the website, i clicked on next, but was not going through

I am surprised that some people are asking how to get admission at this time of the year. It's surprising that people don't plan for things but just jump ship when the opportunity comes. These same people will complain of foul play when those who planned and prepared before hand are preferred for such apportunities.

Mobil can be whatever they are or do whatever they do during the employment - I don't know and have never been through that process and cannnot confirm or refute that claim. But for the ESSO scholarship, I can confirm it is very transparent. It has become our habit to excuse our mediocrity with the Nigerian "who do you know" factor. Unfortunately, that is really destroying us and has prevented us from telling ourselves the hard truth when we perform below par.

I know people who got the scholarship last year who never believed they could get it and didn't know anybody whatsoever but because they like to put in their best in whatever they do. I am encouraging all that intend taking the ESSO scholarship, ESSO scholarship is transparent and is for 10 students only (last year figures). You will have to be among the best 10 all over Nigeria that will take part and if you believe and PREPARE, you will surely make it. If you have the mindset that the selection is already done, sorry, you (may) never get it because the truth is you will never put in your best or put another way, your mediocrity-ridden best will be below acceptable levels.

Many people complained of confirmation letters last year as well - I don't know why. If you strictly meet all the requirements, you shouldn't have problems except you email address is wrong or your internet/browser is acting up. They are a bit lax for admission to the aptitude test as they will allow you write if you applied and strictly met all the requirements but was not invited. But a sound of warning, don't even spend your time and money if you do not have an admission letter.

@sbmee: Please i have been trying to apply, but had problem with the column "intended course of study" at the third page of the form. It is blank. When i clicked on next, it refused to take me to the next page saying i need to fill all the fields marked *. How did u do your own. Please respond so that i can beat the deadline. Anybody in the house can help me out. Thanks.

@adembamidele: Plss take time to read previous trends, this has been answered. Anyway, just refresh the page, change to a different browser or maybe, change the server (cybercafe). It will surely come up fine.

i have applied but havent recieved a confirmation e-mail. has anyone who applied recieved such. i have appled now severally to see if a confirmation mail will be sent, but nothing is happening.

this scholarship is only for engineering and geosciences graduates with 2nd class upper, 2.1. to confirm this when u click on the site link, click on home then requirements

guys dis is wierd. i tried applying on 22nd and 23rd but was only succesful for the local scholarship. i couldnt complete the international scholarship cos some fields refused to load properly. Just out of curiousity i decided to apply just now. it worked and i immediately got the confirmation mail. so i suggest you apply again. Heres the mail i got. Hope it helps. cheers

I have applied for about 8 times but i finally got my confirmation message after the 9th attempt. This is how you know if your application has gone through, When you click on submit application or whatever, it shows a message on your screen saying "Personal details successfully added to database" and shows you he page saying you will receive a confirmation message in your email..... If you dont see the message saying "details added o database", you need to keep trying. BEST OF LUCK!

Na wa oh...I've not yet received any reference number or mail from them. After applying, I only see a message that flashes and says something like "...you will receive a confirmation mail" Yet no mail. Is dere any other way? Any body in the house with similiar issues. Abeg make una help oooh!. Thanks.

I also applied and got a message that says my details have been added to their database and that i would receive a confirmation in my mail but am yet to receive that.

Applied a while ago and got a mail almost immediately. Guess it's important to state that it was after 10 consecutive trials. So keep trying.

I suggest the use of Internet Explorer, it worked for me one time. I had used google chrome and Mozilla Firefox before without success.

House, I got my confirmation email after applying for about 10 times on different days for the Local Version.

I think the application opened on the 23rd, just reapply, and u'll recieve the mail almost imediately, i did so and got mine, national awards usually come up later, after the international one, so keep looking

The National Scholarship usually comes out in July/ August

House, Thank God ooo, I finally got the confirmation mail after like 10 trials (like 5 trials today).
There are 2 sets of questions to be expected GMAT (shl) questions and skill test questions. Please do anyone know the kind of questions to expect in the skill test, whether it's obj, theory or fill-in-the-gap? Also, anyone with idea of scope of questions asked for Mechanical Engineering? No contribution is irrelevant please.
