Electromechanics Course for Secondary School Leavers at I I T
If interested for your younger ones
The Electromechanics course is a 3 year multi-skill technician course for secondary school leavers. The course is made up of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Industrial Automation components. Students are placed on attachment to selected companies for nine months.
There is a strong emphasis on work ethics throughout the course.
Certifications:
National Technical Certificate (Modular) of NABTEB
City & Guilds of London Technician Diploma examinations
IIT’s certificate of proficiency in Electromechanics
100% of IIT Graduates have gained employment in reputable employment in reputable organisations upon graduation.
The Moral formation given in IIT is entrusted to the prelature of Opus Dei, an institution of the Catholic Church. The course is open to target beneficiaries irrespective of their Ethnic or Religious affiliations.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must:
1. Be Male secondary school leaver
2. Be between 17 and 21 years old
3. Submit a copy of birth certificate
4. A recommendation letter from former school principal or testimonial
5. A passport photograph
6. Have credits in Mathematics and Physics
7. Pass IIT entrance examination & interview
ADMISSION PROCESS
1. Interested applicants can download the application forms (see attachment).
Completed forms are to be returned along with a photocopy of purchase to the Institute on or before May 31, 2011.
2. Entrance examination will be conducted on Saturday June 4, 2011.
3. Interviews will be conducted for candidates who pass the entrance examination.
