ELectrical Engineers with Utility experience needed for FMCG

A medium sized FMCG conglomerate and clear market leader in the sector with headquarters in Lagos and operations pan Nigeria. Our company brands are household names and leaders in various segments of the market.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Steam Boiler) Also for Electrical Engineer( Chiller/Boiler/Air Compressor/Water Treatment Plant)

Job Location: Lagos

Responsibilities:
Leads the Specialists allocated to his project, defining main guidelines and defining the projects electrical tasks.
Ensures the issuing of the deliverables and provides to manage the electrical subcontractor if required, defining schedule of deliverable issue and deliverable quality.
Ensures that the timing of his project is in line with the project master schedule.
Motivates the electrical team, using soft skills, encouraging, supporting, defending, managing conflicts of people belonging to his engineering department.
Takes the responsibility of the success/failure of the electrical team involved in the project.
Focuses the attention of the electrical team on project constraints and take actions for solving problems, found during engineering development.
Interfaces the client as main key person for electrical matter, and in particular aspects of the job.
Controls the electrical progress in line with the plans agreed, reviews and monitors quality to ensure constant reaching of high performance.
Ensures that the engineering is developed in respect of Contract, Quality, Safety, and Environmental requirements, within the specific time schedule and cost.
Supports the Project Engineering or Project Engineering Manager in issuing claims.
Ensures the respect of man hour budget, monitoring progress status and the spent man hour.
To smooth all electrical engineering activities in each project.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of OND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years experience in utility operation of Chiller, Boiler, Air compressor, Water treatment plant
Must be able to carry out preventative maintenance of the equipments assigned and record keeping
Must be ready to get their hands dirty
