@Debrown and Debrief,i urge u guys that whatever need to be done in publishing the letter, let it be fast cos in the month of august we will be counting our respective joy.i bet you august will not pass us by IJN Amen.
@debrown, well done for ur effort. I read through the open letter and made some contribution to the original write up. i feel some of the paragraph should be deleted becos there not neccessary. i believe the open letter is an appeal to her. Below is my contribution to the write up.
AN OPEN LETTER TO THE HON. MINISTER OF PETROLEUM RESOURCES, ARCH. (MRS.) DIEZIANI ALLISON MADUEKE BY THE 2011 BATCH OF INTERVIEWEES FOR JOBS AT THE DEPARTMENT OF PETROLEUM RESOURCES (DPR).
The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) sometime in March 2010 advertised for various positions and conducted tests in June and Dec 2010 through a recruitment agency ERA Professional Services. Successful candidates were invited for final interviews at Lagos Resource Centre, No.9 Anifowoshe Street, Off Kofo Abayomi between April and May 2011.
Hon. Minister, it can be recall that during the Budget defence of your ministry in February 2012, you gave various reasons for the huge recurrent expenditure of your ministry, which include an impending (NNPC/DPR) recruitment process. The DPR director also defended the huge recurrent budget, saying the department (DPR) has 250 people on its employment waiting list with another 200 lined up for employment in the second or third quarter of the year. But it is astounding that several months after the passage of the 2012 budget, the DPR recruitment has not been concluded. This recruitment if completed we believe is part of the fulfilment of the transformation agenda/job creation programme of our dear president.
We are appealing to the Minister and management of the DPR to lend a listening ear to our plea and respond by concluding this long-running recruitment process and release offer letters to successful candidates.
We are well aware of the challenges of your important office, its dynamism and the turbulence that has dogged your sincere and seminal efforts to uplift the oil and gas sector.
GOD BLESS YOU!
GOD BLESS DPR!
GOD BLESS NIGERIAN GRADUATES!
GOD BLESSTHE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA!
Signed
@all this is the right time to make that publication when nnpc is accused of breaching fcc guidelines, countering by nnpc just now in nta network news.lets make the publication,i know people are skeptical not to put sand in our garri, but the truth is that that mpr is not help[ing matters.lets just release the publication at time when there is a war on budget imbriglio, accusation of nnpc recruitment saga, then ours will be on que to those saga
@gly007 we need to make reference to nnpc that started after ours but have there letters
@arcbishop, @Engalm, @Dennis Bergkamp, @dikayoo, @korokoro @GLY007 and others, thanks for your comments. I deliberately omitted details on budget defence. And reminding her of the promises made by her or the dpr Director may not be necessary. She might be angered with that. In this era of probity, we would be placing her in a tight corner. Also as @korokoro rightly responded to @GLY007, we need to make reference to NNPC and give her the credit for the release of their letters.
@all another showdown on budget with the senate,in few days it will be messy, senate claim the implementation is 21% not 56.so when the president is back lets do the right thing to make our case public
@debrown you should include because of transformation agenda of mr president toward job creation
@debrown, remind her of her promise to Nigerians during her budget defence, bcos that will bring to her awareness that Nigerians are eagerly waiting for her to implement the DPR budget she defended, for which money has long bn approved.
@debrown,reminding her of her promise might be a good idea, dont u think so?
Very soon!!! By God grace
