@sakabu so there will still be addition and subtraction of names after it has passed thru fcc?i dont seem to understand wat happen to the quota system?and wat exactly did fcc do with the list.
also nobody seems to talk abt the number each dept will take,since the interview was done accordin to the seperate courses.E.g like how many mech,chmical.elect,pet,civil,geology guys will be taken?

D list that was forwarded to FCC is cleared but as it arrives FCC, so people in government come to know about d DPR recruitment and as such FCC approved the list after vettin for state qouta and return the list as it is given to them by DPR....those people in power are now putting evelasting pressure to add their own but God is far better than them, I will meet U guys at Induction!!!.......By God grace

@Landix: qouta system exist but best two from each state are automatic employment while the rest may struggle to fill the rest of their state qouta....e.g If Bayelsa is 9 people, d best two are automatic and the seven will ba a mix of few government add up and degree classification.

@All, just contacted an old colleague (we went to Unijos and Robert Gordon together) who is with DPR (joined 2002) and he told me that the list is with the Perm Sec at the Ministry of Pet Resources and will let me know as soon as the list gets to Lagos. Hope this info helps...
your info does help debrown, i just hope for 2 things;
1, the info is legit
2, i hope i am in that list if legit,
i pray all will be well for all of us who put in all their efforts to get this job.

That was the impression i had too (list in Lagos)...pls note from a reliable source (someone in the Director's office -don't want to mention his position pls) that the list is not in Lagos yet. He will get back as soon as it arrives...
I pray GOD will see us through this hurdle....whether Lagos , Abuja,FCC
....... but sincerely speaking, we all should rise up and pray against those responsible for the alteration of names in FCC, it getting worse daily...............pls my guys working for FCC,a little bit of conscience is all we seek from u....rem, what u sow,u shall reap,let all join hands and build Nigeria for our children.... why close the ways of a struggling man cos of money,indirectly closing ur children's ways...

@All: The news is so SAD!!!!.....The permanent secratary of Ministry of Petroleum has bring 30 names of dumb people to be added to the DPR list but some credible people in DPR stood against that and insist on merit. But the permanent secratary is now with treat to transfer those staff out of DPR...Please government CABAL hijacked this recruitment. We need people to this on national dailies or you people should please help us contact SAHARA REPORTERS to expose this wicket act of the permanent sec Ministry of Petroleum
