We can start a publication with 50k this coming week with an agreed newspaper to be the first advertiser, we can proceed to second news paper wen we get another 50k, until we publish on the four papers. This method will serve more pressure because we will be publishing almost every week for 4weeks!.....Madam will say this people need to be sorted before they damage my reputation.

We can tell the news papers we are concern jobless comrades and they can help us with discount and do us a favour by capturing a headline on front page that our publication inside the newspaper with page reference. Like (DPR/NNPC recruitment Scam publication:see page 6)

@Sakaku, maybe you need to find out the cost of publishing in the national newspapers first. The question to ask ourselves is 'what sort of publication (an advertorial or same news carried before in Leadership and most recently in National Mirror on the 4th June) with fresh facts cause no paper will carry that same news again or do we write an open letter to the President and cc all parties involved?. And what size are we looking at'?For your information a full page in Thisday, Vanguard or Guardian is about N500k (not N50k). Having observe events all this while, I think I've 2 air my view @ this point.

Is this thread still alive? Asides from debrown's daily financial update, there's being nothing else on this thread, haba where's everyone? Have we all lost hope or relocated to the nnpc thread. Anyway we say we want our letters but I believe if even not all of us but the 250 have paid a token of 1k, we wudve gathered at least 250k by now. Plz let's put our money where our mouth (and heart) is.Even if you have your doubts,concerns and reservation(s), sparing 1k won't hurt.

the nig govt does not take publications seriously it is better we organise a stronger protest with all the media organisation present and we will achieve the much needed publication and result. that is the only language the nig govt listens to. lets do more of organised peaceful protest both in lag, abj and ph one at a time so that we can pull resources together for each. three of them for 3days and we will get all the attention we are seeking for. let every hopeful get a new number for thi purpose and submit same in this thread so that we can easily reach one anothe for a better organised rally

Remember Billy Agha was d DPR director b4 he was seconded to NNPC as GED.
In d same DPR, Andrew Obaje was appointed and was relieved less than 3 monthe of his retirement due. Well Madam MPR replaced Abaje with her Shell coulegue cronies.....as an outsider coming to head the sector,She need her own loyalist.

@korokoro: The thing is that most of us are waiting for the publication to be made. As soon as its made, you'll see everyone come back to life. Meanwhile, NNPC guys were trying to use certain members to dissuade us from causing them trouble. I really don't take tough decisions unless its the last option but, since we decided to protest then we must see it through 100%. Not half-way only then will we be taken seriously. Cheers people!
