My friend, it's a pity you went through my prev post, this was because the much controversial recruitment was was hault until recently.. Howerver, the authorities have decided to bring vigour back to bear in the process. A Memo was released early this week to the units concern regarding it's conclusion, so probably in a few weeks time the lucky ones should be engage. Again, if you dont make the list, jst believe in ur God and prepare urself 'excellently' for the up coming one later ths yr. Goodluck all! B, J engr

Does any one in the house know the number of persons recruited 4 H.R Positions in the 250 list with FCC? I studied Business Admin and applied for HR but learnt there are just 2 HR in d list, pls any genuine info about this especially from your excellency DEBROWN?

The memo was released last week tuesday directing HR to stop the process..another recruitment is cummin up very soon

Its been canceld since on thursday,but Dpr is trying to plead wit them. Unfortunately madam and dirctor are out of the country. Let's pray for God's intervention.

@stakz001 and pinkyb, I don't know where you got this your info. I can only guess why you are posting this kind of info just to discourage the hopefuls. Memo from who???? And Dpr trying to plead with who???. I want you to know that the Director was in the office yesterday Friday 24th Feb 2012. And so Its possible he may have travelled today which is not a big deal. Travelling in dpr is often frequent, especially for the Director and it could just be for a couple of days or 1 week max and if its with the Minister, it could be official (e.g conference). As for cancellation, its not possible because the recruitment has been concluded and the money for it just approved. Besides dpr staff promotion took effect since August last year with vacancies now everywhere. The selected candidates will be called not exceeding March 2012 by God's grace. The new Director is passionate about it and he will even recruit more later in the year. So if you were not selected, you still have a chance to prepare for the next recruitment instead of expressing your frustration by posting info to discourage others or consoling yourself by hoping that it will be cancelled just because you are not on the current list. Those who trust and rely on God will NEVER be disappointed.

Why are you guys telling such lies??? The Both the Minister and Director are very much in the country! I suspect some ppl are playing mind games again and they know themselves! Besides the only body that can recommend cancellation of recruitment is Federal Character Commission. Even at that, they CANNOT FORCE it. The Minister has veto power. @stakz001, it is Standard procedure as @Dennis Bergkamp explained for FCC to write to DPR concerning this recruitment because of the time it has taken. Congrats if your name is on the list for you will soon receive your offer letter. As for your suggestion to do something about this...I believe we have already done something by asking God to intervene so let HIS WILL BE DONE.

@Pinkyb: I feel you're one of the good guys in this forum. You only misunderstood the situation. And you did well by informing the house. After investigating in my own way, I found out that FCC are only trying to put pressure on DPR and other parastatals who have serially disregarded their recommendations to finally call their new recruits. I'm confident (99.9%) that FCC's move will work in our favour. No rational thinking person would want to approve huge chunks of funds for another recruitment process just cos they want to save money. Relax everyone. Umm...Pinkyb, calm down, no need to panick. I understand your fears.

On wednesday, expect the FINAL OUTCOME.....Its either positive or negative but from all indication, its 80% positive and 20% negative....anything is possible but the best of the best prayer now counts.

@sakabu..a commissioner @fcc told me it has bn canceld...my heart is cracking og God see us thru this.....

@Sakabu. I must tel u, I appreciate ur maturity in treating issues. I heard a similar cancellation story from a reliable friend that works wit the DPR just early yesterday, however i just exercised some caution to avoid a hullabaloo and demoralization.
But one thing, we wld appreciate beta if u can expatiate on the premise that led to your conclusion dat the final outcome is scheduled for weds. Furthermore, d definition of your "final outcome", does it mean d list of successful candidate or d decision to cancel or not.
@Debrown. Pls take d bold step of confirming from your sources @ FCC the intent of this cancellation. Is it aimed @ our favour or otherwise. Also, what is d possibility of the nullifying d cancellation order.

look my guys, even the chairman of the fcc can,t cancell this recruitment, bcos GEJ is fully aware of the delay of this recruitment, infact the main delay is non passage of pib, believe it or not, if this recruitment can brake the law of dpr,that says any recruitment process that exceed one yr frm the day of advert is null and void, itt can equally brake all the law,s of fcc 100 times, and nothing will happen.so start thanking God now, although am not a dpr hopefull, but nnpc hopefull.

Guys there's been alot of problem on this recruitment stuff, I wouldn't want to go into details, But I believe Prayers can change the situation around so lets all stay on our knees but as for the authentic report Pinkyb and Stakz001 have it.
