According to Maku, “Mr. President, today in Council, directed all Ministers, all MDAs to ensure the prompt implementation of the 2012 budget. Even though the budget is still undergoing the normal process of appropriation in the National Assembly, Mr. President today put on notice that as soon as the budget is passed by the National Assembly, he will like to see quick implementation of projects, especially those that will be executed under this year’s capital budget. Mr. President directed that this year is decisive and is a year that he will want to see quicker action in the way we implement our projects.

sakabu, i don,t think is budget that is delaying the process bcos #59b budgeted for ministry of petroleum can pay of the staffs for one month only, but if u say internal budget i might agree with, i personally thinks that PIB is wht is actually responsible for the delay

what i mean that budget can not be responsible for an advert that was on since 2008 and national budget can,t be responsible for it, but if u say the ministry internal budgt i may agree bcos now it needs NASS approval, but the main delay is petroleum industry bill that is not passed but thank God there promise doing so b4 3rd quart of this yr.

Chairman of Senate Committee on Petroleum Upstream, Senator Emmanuel Paulker, raised issues concerning the huge overhead costs in the petroleum sector.
He described the trend as “worrisome.”
Paulker insisted that ministries and parastatals should strive to raise capital votes above recurrent expenditure.
He said that the ministry failed to present its expenditure for 2011 and directed the Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke to furnish the committee with the details latest Monday.
The implication of the N30 billion personnel cost is that on the average, a staff of the DPR receives about N2 million every month, irrespective of cadre.
Senator Gbenga Ashafa blew the whistle on the over bloated recurrent expenditure when he said that N35.89 billion was allocated to the DPR with over N30 billion personnel cost.
He lamented that “this year another over bloated personnel cost has been allocated to DPR.”
According to him, N21.945 was allocated as personnel cost to DPR in 2010; N24 billion for the same purpose in 2011 while N30.399 billion was allocated to the agency in 2012 budget proposal.
The Lagos State born lawmaker said that his worry was that DPR has a workforce of less than 1500.
To make matters worse, he noted that the staff strength of the DPR has remained constant since 2010.

I'm begging who ever that is givin out my number for people to be callng to pls stop that! As i am not in dpr management.. The confussion that there's (a previous)recruitment going on now is fake. Pls take note.. A new recruitment may however be conducted later in the year.

Good day All: Like i said earlier THAT NASS ASSEMBLY will definitely scrutinize the budget from DPR and there is no way they wont know about the recruitment.

They did right and what happened next our God fought the Battle for us and we are less than 10 days away FROM RECEIVING OUR OFFER LETTERS by GOD's Divine GRACE.
