The latest infor i got frm DPR, so so authentic. The list(d added names inclusive) is 'presently' with the minister of petroleum resources. DPR is waiting for her to sign n send to them. Dats all left now.

Hmmnnnnn!doesnt this gives credence to an earleir post that said the newly appointed Director who being used to the transperant recruitment process faulted the DPR recruitment; cos on one of my visit to the DPR office in abuja recently the branch controller himself as wel as som of the senior staff couldnt say anytin concernin the recruitment as they said they no longer knw wht is happening! another staff l spoke wit also confirm the displeasure of the new director with the selection process and jus today l read a nation newspaper dated 17th jan of hw the new director was emphasizin the need for DPR to attain global benchmark standard of perfomance through innovation, and even though he did mentioned more funding for DPR, he placed more emphasis on getting the right personnel as the most important factor in achieving innovation and moving the oil regulator to the standard already achieved by its peers in other coutries. well let see hw tins turns out.Quote:

All is set for minister to sign but she is more confused than any1 here in this forum (subsidy protest, EFCC, NNPC crashing, her pictures on sahara reporters spending nigerian money, PIB..e.t.c)...give her time, I believe the first thing she would look at after a calm breeze from EFCC will be us.....last weekends almost all DPR TOP STAFFS were at office arranging files with EFCC...so calm down....guys...lets see what will happen after the first management meeting this wednesday!

In a forum where every is blind, it is pparamount to know that there's no recruitment or any recruiting process going on presently in DPR. however that we intend to do that later in the year. Will advice all admirers and sincere well wishers of Dpr to exercise patience AND STOP turning to uncredible sources for fake informations.

I've come across a number of ONLINE INVESTMENT WEBSITES who seems to make lots rossy returns/Payouts on our money invested ...but how do you know u wont throw away the money you invested? These is one of investors fear ... but the issue is not to allow the fear deter you from investing ... i have seen http://mcdaveinvestment.com/ and invested with them. These international company are really paying out.

@ Oscarnovic. Yes i agree there can be some administrative bottlenecks atimes but it all boils down to taking action. So if budget is not passed till June 2012 are they saying the Ministry will not spend any single cent from now till June? Don't forget ideally we should have been called since last year July/Aug if you really listened to the expected time of resumption the interview panelist told us.
@ Gen Debrown we really do appreciate your contributions to this thread and that of NNPC may the good Lord reward you abundantly for all your kind efforts. From the NNPC thread they is a claim that an article about the current recruitment of both DPR and NNPC is out on page 35 of the leadership paper Jan 26 edition. Will try and substantiate the claim and inform you accordingly via PM.
@ Gen Sakabu. May God bless you for your unwavering efforts towards informing the house as regards credible and reliable information. May God reward you abundantly. I agree that the current investigation might be causing some delays but i believe all things will work for our favor in general.
@ All DPR Jan 2012 hopefuls as a prophetic word by one of the wisest Man that ever lived by the name of King Solomon "evil bows before THE GOOD and the wicked at THE GATES OF THE RIGHTEOUS" by God's divine Grace as he has started this good work in our lives he is faithful and just to see it unto completion.
Anybody that wants to tarnish the reputation of this recruitment exercise will not see the light of day and GOD will turn any negativity to POSITIVITY. @ All start preparing becomes i believe strongly in my heart that we are about enetering the final hours before we receive our offer letters.

GOD IS IN CONTROL. HE WHO KEEPS US is faithful to FULFIL that which he has promised because the scriptures says THERE HAS NOT BEEN ONE WORD OF HIS JUST PROMISES THAT HAS NOT COME TO PASS. So also is this recruitment exercise as he has declared us appointed into DPR by his grace he is CERTAINLY faithful to accomplish it for us ALL PHYSICALLY.

@jj: I asked same question n i was told the 2O11 burget wud still b on till march.(d 2O12 burget can b passd before den). U knw we r new entrants n u dnt just employ massively witout capturing it in a burget.(its not only DPR now,many oda govmt parastatals recruitment r long over due). The minister has d final say not DPR now. Dats d latest.
@Debrown: i can feel ur plight bro. But wat can we do. Managmt will hv their way. U see DPR has no rit to issue out employment letters witout d minister endorsing d final list(which is on her table now). U see she gat so much on her head now; d quick passage of d PIB,d allegation about mismangemt of funds in her sector. This is a nation wide recruitment n u it has to b well burgeted for. Thats d 'technically bitter truth' i gathered but im not making xcuses for dem cos dis recruitment is long overdue,bt i heard d last recruitment in DPR started 2006 n ended 2008. @oscarnovic, its gud to know say u dey feel me! You asked what can we do? There is a lot that we can do and we are already doing it. I hope you have seen the publication in today's Leadership Newspaper on p35. Let me also inform you that we were at the National Assembly today and had the opportunity of a one on one discussion with Hon. Farouq Lawal, Chairman of the House Fuel subsidy probe and other House Members who are willing to take this up - Hon Yakubu Dogara(Bauchi), Hon Orker Jev (Benue), Hon. Eucharia (Anambra) and the Deputy House Leader - Hon. Leo Ogba and we expressed our frustration with this process. For your information, the probe committee may be rounding up tomorrow so watch out for the questions that will be asked and if there is no mention of NNPC and DPR recruitment. Again, we will be meeting the Deputy House Leader - Hon. Leo tomorrow so that this can be raised on the floor for discussion next week tue when the House will reconvene or at their preferred time. If you ask me what we hope to achieve, the answer is this- if there is going to be a true transformation as it is the intention of every weIl-meaning Nigerian, then every recruitment process must be concluded within a stipulated period of time otherwise such an Agency will be breaking the law. I hope I have answered your question about what we can do. We have taken this step with all good intentions and we rely on God for something positive to come out of it.
