secondly i think you just experess your openion as everyone in the house has been doing.... i strongly dis agree with you when you say some people have been given letters and they have since started working. if it is with regards to this paprticular recruitment process. its a forum and no one is deceiving anyone ... any coment posted here r not just manufactured from the sky... most r closely related to what is happen in reality. i really dont kno you or what you reasons are for making such coment but i strongly believe that everything is on course and by the special grace of God everything about DPR recruitment will surey come to an end soon. Like I said earlier, my bruv told me that his frnd has gotten her offer letter since oct and she has even resigned frm her current place of work in other to resume wit DPR in Jan. DEPACALON personaaly i fink u r on point wit ur info, naija is in a mess wrt to recruitment n for a sensitive dept lik DPR.
It is a normal practice in Nigeria that some people get employed through the back door based on their connections and long legs. In my opinion, it is not a surprising thing to hear that some people resumed three months ago or thereabout.
However, while some people get in through the back doors, others get employed through transparent and recruitment. As regards to the current DPR recruitment exercise, I strongly believes in SAKABU, DEBROWN etcs' contributions because the list of the 250 successful candidates is there at the FCC office. Many people have seen their names by themselves, others have their names checked by friends and relatives including my self. There is nothing like DECEPTION at all, it is just a matter of time everything will be over. Insha-Allah

On that 250 list, there is the name of the son/daughter of high ranking management staff whom was grilled so much during the interview and he/she proovd him/herself well because he/she graduated abroad with 1st class and if any one should will report b4 us, it will b him/her. I just called him/her yankee number, he/she told me come January we will be called and DEPACALON'S friend that reported must be a junior staff and i encourage every one in the house to ask any DPR staff to know whether any knew senior staff reports..DPR STAFFS will just laugh at you and tell you "wake up from that dream because our NUPENGASSAN are watching any new staff that comes in".....

@DEPACALON, firstly I can authoritatively tell you that NO GRADUATE has resumed at DPR following this recruitment exercise. It is true that Clerks, Typists and Drivers were recently recruited. It is not unusual for a recruitment process to take this long particularly in a Country like Nigeria where things are not working.Secondly, let it be known to you (if you don't already know) that DPR is a reputable place and even the Director has no power to Hire or Fire any graduate staff unless the President (certified by Parliament) - pls ask any DPR staff for confirmation. A very Snr staff of FCC told me personally that as long as the list has been officially sent to them for their records/documentation, DPR has no choice but to offer the selected candidates employment. Note that I have seen a copy of the letter to the Commissioner representing my State. Finally, I can tell you that there is always a place for merit in every recruitment process no matter how corrupt the institution is. You boast of your 'connection' to get into your current organisation but I put it to you that someone in your organisation did not know anybody but was recruited on merit (God's special favour). I have never used any so called 'connection' to achieve anything in my life but I am proud of what God has been doing in my life. Let me give you one example: In 2002 I wrote the Ptdf aptitude test, did not know anyone but was successful on merit and by the special Grace of God, I obtained an MSc from a fully funded post graduate program the following year. Today people are still benefiting from that scholarship but people like you would discourage those who have no 'connection' but wish to apply.@all, my advice is that you should TRUST GOD who is the only one to decide your faith. Let me state emphatically that by God's divine grace we will be called come Januray 2012. This is the revelation i had. Secondly Sakabu is not the DPR director he gets information and whatever he gets from his reliable source he tells us.
Like i have said before i know we are resuming in January 2012. All start preparing by God's grace. The dates might change for the particular time period in which letters are supposed to be issued but not be deceived. This recruitment is one of the fairest recruitment i have seen. To the point that they took it to FCC and people have confirmed their names. Do you think DPR is joking? Certainly not they took their time to make sure they employed based on Merit along with Quota system. So my friends some people what to tarnish the reutation of this recruitment exercise but we thank God who has been on our side. He that started a good work in our lives is faithful and just to see it on to completion. We are expecting to resume in january what if rapture occurs before then who knows. Only God knows tomorow. So if Sakabu comes and tells us that we should expect our letters first week of January it is expectation. So we should expect. He is not betting his life on it. It is the information that he received that he is relaying.
Gen Sakabu and Gen Deborwn and other reliable informants keep doing the good work you are doing. God will reward you. @ 250 names including me. God who started it is faithful and just to see it on to completion.
Yes i agree with Namtari that there are special candidates but you see everything must follow due process. Even the President follows the constitution so no matter what whether through 250 names or through high profile candidacy. Due process must be in place. Dont forget who will pay the salary of the new hopeful. Federal Government. So just imagine substituting 250 names that is signed sealed and delivered and dont forget the names emanated from DPR after rigorous interviews.I know of someone who while he was being interviewed got a remark "Thats Very Correct" and by God's divine grace the individual has his name on the 250 list.
So let me reiterate again. The God who has started it will finish it. The battle is mine says the lord of host. So @ All 250 names me included. AS LONG AS GOD liveth NOTHING SHALL TAMPER WITH THOSE NAMES. COME NEXT YEAR JANUARY 2012 we shall be called to resume by God's divine grace. THE GIFTS AND CALLING OF GOD IS WITHOUT REPENTANCE.
@ Nelsono what we want here is evidence to back your claim. What is the content of the letter?When is the resumption date? Where was she posted to? Well let her furnish you with such details. Dont forget alot of us have friends over at DPR who also give us information. For now the only authetic fact about DPR is that only Junior staff have resumed. Secondly the general consensus is that resumption is January 2012. So by January 2012 when all the 250 potential DPR employees + X amount of high profile candidates are called to resume what will you now say?
The last time in 2008 resumed some people resumed Mid January and i believe ours will follow suit.
@ 250 Fellow DPR Colleagues come Januray next year.

@All, I met one of the senators in Oil and Gas and he put a call to the Director of DPR! From their phone discussion, the recruitment is still on and ofcourse there's gonna be additional names. I'm not siding any1 but I think some ppl are just tired of waiting. But pls if u r one of those ppl kindly stop checking for updates here rather than posting rubbish. There's no policy on here that says d highest person that posts must get this job! So let's help each other by keeping mute when necessary

I'v same issue on ground now. My cousin whom his/her name is on the list got a job wit NLNG.He/she is nt taking the offer.But the prob now is dat we read different courses.Will his/her replacement be someone wat read same course or could be the next highest pointer?

We do not control the HAND of Time only God does and he has set an appointed time for our resumption. i would only suggest bombarding the Presidents page if and only if the recruitment ends up in a corrupt manner i.e wrongful substitution of 250 names signed sealed and delivered.

@ All to further add to what Gen Sakabu said. "Some People may be DEAD" now thats food for thought. Do you guys know that there are only about 20 Potential DPR stations nation wide. That means we will have about 250 people minimum travelling to resume once offer letters are out. Do we know whether God who knows the end of a thing from the beginning is making sure we resume at a time when the road is clear void of unnecessary traffic jams, armed robbers and accidents.
God has seen everything ahead. He knows the End of a thing from the beginning. So if God lays it in DPR's heart to send our letters in January 2012 to resume mid january it is going to be for good beacause the SCRIPTURES SAYS ALL THINGS (INCLUDING 1,2, 3 months delay in sending out offer letters to successful candidates) WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THEM THAT LOVE GOD TO THEM WHO ARE THE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE)
Let us all relax it is well. God has a good plan and he that started a good thing in our lives is faithful and Just to see it unto completion.
