So the implication of this is that it has difinitly affect some of the progrms of the dept since the budget office(ie min of finance) started giving out funds at may ending and not frm the begining of the year as was promoted by the govt.. And i told him abt the struggle, all he could say was that it is meaningless as far as there's no funds for budget implementation, no pressure can push the dept to call anybody.. From his explaination i was somehow satisfied and now know the problem is budgetary and min of finance has a greater part to play in this struggle.. Not me nor you.

@ABC123, that was a good fact finding by you. From what the min of finance said that 44 percent of money released to MDAs has not bn used by the MDAs, is your source saying DPR isnt part of these agencies to which money were released to? If yes, what do you think we should introduce into the struggle.

@All: I hv finished editin bt there are some issues d house needs to know n brain storm about. I hav been tryin to put a call to a senior client in MPR(who updates me) and was able to speak with him today and of a truth i can collabotate wat a hopeful(ABCD123) posted above. Now some questions i shud put to you all. 1.) Since budget dispensin is part of d delay, will this b d best time to publicise as d feedback mit b 'we r waitin for funds frm Finance minister'.Are u ppl goin to wait so as not to waste money to publicise only to hear such kind of feedback abov?. (2.) Should it now b addressed to d Finance Minister? Dis r questions dats shud b answerd so as to come out wit abetter write-up. U guys shud brain storm. God bless.

@lawmaker, we appreciate ur effort. Tnx alot.On the issue of who to address the letter to, I feel it should be jointly addressed to both MPR and the finance minister, since the finance minister, who claimed to have released money to MDAs, is now part of the reason why letters have nt been released to DPR hopefuls. By so doing, we will be sure that both of them will respond by doing the necessary things required to bring about the release of letters to the hopefuls, since we all know that none of them will like to have their names linger on National dailies for reasons that has to do with budgets and its poor implementation. We all know that both ministers have always promised job creation, especially among the youths.

@Lawmaker is better to adress it to MPR becouse if you address both MPR and MF is as if you are sponsored by DPR personel so you better be carefull don't mix sand with garri.

@all we know there is a genuine delay as confirmed by different sources from various category off staff in the ministry and DPR, however we need to understand the substance behind the publication. We are doing this publication because we want to hear from the management (MPR) themselves officially, so as to hold them once again by their words anticipating when the pressing issues causing the delay are clearly resolved. With their response on paper or via a letter, we will be rest on our oars and just wait for their genuine excuses, if any to unfold.
So i suggest a letter to the MPR and regardless of the info at hand. Let the publishing be pubicized. We will keep praying as part of spiritual efforts too IJN.

@All, I thought you guys are tired of hearing stories and that is why we r writing an open letter in order to hear from the 'horses mouth'?. What exactly are we 'brainstorming' about?. Do you want to hear what the MPR or DPR Mgnt has to say concerning this recruitment or you want to believe me or any other faceless hopeful who comes on the thread to post that he/she has spoken to so and so?. How long do we want to continue 'speaking english' here? Also why should we even contemplate addressing the letter to the Minister of Finance? Did any of us apply for Dpr job through the Finance Ministry?. In my opinion, this is yet another distraction from the real issue at stake (contributing money for the publication). Our destiny is in our hands, we can choose to speak grammar here and shy away from contributing the money that we need to make this a reality or do the right thing. You all heard @bebrief mentioned that nnpc mgnt acknowledged and made reference to the last protest we had which most of us chickened out. Although only 5 of us were present and in fact only 3 of us were present when I presented our case to the zonal HR Manager, it made the desired impact. If we do this letter to the MPR, we would hold on to her response and that is key, irrespective of what we think her response would be. And that is why I am in complete agreement with @kaylarge's viewpoint. For the sake of encouraging those who mean well for this struggle, I and some of my friends have tasked ourselves from N1k up to N5k as an extra effort towards the realisation of this publication and we currently have raised N59k. The money is in my personal account now and we will continue to contribute until next week when we will harmonise with @Bebrief. I want to thank all those who have contributed so far. May God bless and replenish your efforts abundantly.

Una no think say we suppose write to dpr-management first to know the status of the process so far before strecthing over to mpr.. This we can do by giving them certain period for response or probably via courtesy call.

I think dpr would still be in a better to tell the present positions of things if we propell them to make/inquire from the mpr instead of us doing thier job for them.

I see writting mpr as inapproiate since writting this office is a bridge of protocol.. It is bigger office for other relevant issues.. It can only be done if we wanted them to interceed/intervene on our behalf, but here is a case where they are even seen as the problem... Writting them will more be seen as sponsored.. Even as a battle And to iNTERvene!

This is only my suggestion.. Any attack will be humbly reciprocated by my military officers..

@debrown dont worry urself, a word is enough for the wise. @Lawmaker,lets move quickly n put MPR under some pressure for an official explanation @all, we need prayers, am suggesting a one accord prayer and dry fast while the publishing is going on,lets choose 3days within this month to have a uniform dry fast. Our muslim brothers are on it, so we the Christians should have a uniform one too. May God help us IJN
