@ Spinzagom- Deregulation is the removal or simplification of government rules and regulations that constrain the operation of market forces.
Deregulation does not mean elimination of laws against fraud or property rights but eliminating or reducing government control of how business is done, thereby moving toward a more free market.
DPR has a lot to do since the "LAW is not going to be scrapped totally. Deregulation is just to make the environment a friendly one to attract more investors. I only forsee a change of name from DPR to something else.
If DPR is dormant today how will FG cope, if they loose that huge revenue they get via DPR operations? FG can not try such.
Liasence and Permit alone,site approaval for tank farms, filling stations, oil wells, talkless of penalties, oil expot through Depot. Hmmn! FG No fit o.
