@Tigo Omoniyi...Take heart bro. But I assure you, you'll get another opportunity. Maybe in a bigger firm. This was my experience in Oando. Mine came 10 mins after I wrote the test that I failed. It's heartbreaking, though, but you must move on.

just decided to shear with the house my experience-- Applied on 9th june, got my test link on 10th, did my test on 12th june only for them to tell me on 26th night that there are other candidates with experience closer to what they are looking for.
To me there is no mixed feelings at all I thanked God that i passed is just that Diageo is'nt my job because come to think of it this position is for trainees, I already have a year experience in procurement but in an engineering firm. I wish Diageo hopefuls gud luck.

@all mehn.......they have bounced me oh,i applied on the 2nd did the test on 4th,after raising ma hopes they sent me the mail they gave to ifymandy 2day....all is well ma people kip the spirit @those bounced dont loose hope just kip pressing hard...oluwa dey

Pls house what's the 4 DAYS theory all about?..I quite feel for those whose application have been bounced after the test. I think the mix up is based on their failure to have carefully reviewed all application in their database before sending the invitation link instead of acting otherwise. Also, I don't think the rejection mails is as a result of their performance in the test.

Interesting thread with interesting people! We would all get to our promised lands IJN. Chisom has been a particularly supportive to diageo faithfuls. I applied as well but I'm not really interested in a graduate trainee position. I applied cos of joblessness I would say. I've seen comments about rejections people have gotten. I also believe they didn't check applications well before sending invites for tests. I'm still awaiting a feedback from them though. I know I passed the shl tests but if I'm rejected- its cos of their criteria crap (I've been given the exact questions before by shl for another company which I passed)

yes.. i took the online test and got the msg..that i wasnt successful... same was applicable to all my friends that took the online test... am yet to hear frm anyone who took the online test to say he/she got a msg saying successful

If you successful at that, U will be invited to Diageo's Assessment Centre in Lagos and that will involve 4 key activities: Role play, presentation, Group work and an interview. Successful candidates will then be called for a final interview with a Director and that is it, you land your job. Concerning the pay structure, you earn about 120,000 a month with 800,000 annual housing allowance. Good luck guys.

Pls which one is the technical questions answered at the application process?
What is this role playing thingy.
The next stage is a phone based interview b4 the one-day workshop presentation and interview.
Pls has any1 that wrote the test gotten a call for the phone interview. I wrote the test on 24th and i havent heard anything.
By competency based answers I mean the answers to the questions on why you want to work for diageo, the future challenges and opportunities in the beverage industry etc.
@Trikings2000, I guess that is possible if and only if they just reviewed it this year cos i was fully involved in the process last year.....

The recruitment structure u saw on their website has always been like that for years but subject to each country on the order to follow. But all that is inconsequential rite now, lets not put the cart before the horse................
I doubt if the next stage will be phone based interview considereing the cost of calling several successful applicants for as long as 45minutes(according to what's on their website). That may not work in Nigeria as Eon observed.
wateva the stage is just be prepared and always pray to GOD to land u dere cos i knoe diageo is a good place.........2 be,be hopeful and believe in GOD
