It's my regret to inform you that Diageo just bounced me.
I applied for graduate Finance, did the test and joined the queue on the waiting game.
I finally got their mail now saying I wont be progressed to the next stage.
I sincerely wish success to my friends here who are going to the next stage.
I also wish success to the rest of us who were bounced. There are several good roads that the Lord will open for us henceforth.

Folks are only trying to be conscious thats all. Perhaps not wanting would-be interviewees to have an edge over them, which is somewhat understandable. Although what i find incomprehensible is the complete silence. A concise brief of the A.C activities and stating ones personal take on the process wouldn't in any way be amiss; at least considering that this is an open forum. Just left the AC still on the move will just give a quick breakdown
Interview: basic competency questions
Why diageo
Why the grad program
Tell us about a time when you worked with a difficult colleague, supervisor or customer
Tell us about a time when you developed a skill or started something new
When you found yourself in a difficult situation and how u delt with it
And alot of other questions
Role play
You will be given a document to read to prepare yourself and the will chair a meeting (mine was with a difficult emplyee that had problems with another team player)
Presentation
Again a booklet, read, timed, process info and present. Mine was about the selection of site for a new product.
Group exercise
Booklet read, timed, process info, discus and agree with other group members. Then u can elect some one to present.
Mine was abt a new product launch.
I hope this helps, the people in this forum should remember that the main goal is to share info and help one another.
And before i forget the position today is the IS position and most of us studied IT related courses.

Last year trainees were paid about N114k or almost N120k.

So many people have been left with nothing after getting as far as the Assessment Centre. You see, in the end, it feels like one shouldn't have applied in the first place. That's the reason for the silence. I mean what else do you expect? People putting up posts that show anger, disappointments, tears, regrets etc? So the silence is better after all. Anyways, that one aside, is travelling out your real motive for wanting to join Diageo? if so then you don miss road oooo. may be u should have a rethink and start seeking a career in aviation with an international airline (Air host/hostess) ;D;D;D;DQuote:

Keep it going guys, someone must testify to the Goodness of the Lord here. Even though i have been bounced long ago i still take out time to check on this thread. @ Dennizzman there's a high possibility of traveling out depending on the nature of your Job with Diageo, just keep your fingers crossed while u pray to get the offer.
