Each exercise is designed to measure a number of the capabilities to ensure sufficient coverage in each area. You will be provided with more information about the exercises as you go through the day but in general they can be described as follows:
Group exercise - This exercise is designed to look at the way you work in a group and at your ability to interact in a team environment.
Capability / behaviour based interview - This is an interview based on the Diageo competencies. Your interview will be conducted
by two members of the Diageo team where you will have an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.
Presentation exercise - This exercise is designed to look at how you prepare information in a short time period and your delivery of this in a clear and concise manner to one or two managers. The information will be the same for everyone and there is no preparation involved prior to this exercise commencing.
Role play exercise The purpose of the exercise is to look at your ability to gather information, make decisions and build up a relationship with an individual in an ambiguous situation.
