Current Remuneration Packages in top Oil & Gas (E&P) Companies

I am also 100% sure wht u said isn't true at all. Haabaa...NLNG Line head 502,000/month. For Clearity purpose, take it or leave it, a GT in NLNG nothing less than 6M/annum. Its jst FYI, As for line heads, my uncle is a line head here, my Dad's friend is also a line head, I have a senior friend who is a staff and I am a contract staff there. Perhaps u don't knw if d line head is on a loan facility...

Plus, the politicking in some of these companies make some of my friends want to leave. So, it really isn't all rosy as you guys think. so, again, please don't get it twisted

Biger boy, on that total downstream thing, i don't have much idea on other allowances. Though, I do know they'd provide you with relocation benefits if you have to relocate. That means, though, they can send u virtually anywhere in the country.
The job itself is something of a sales engineering job with their lubricants and oil or LPG, and isn't very technical.

@emmykoncept, dats the Basic salary ooo! Apart from Allawe. Her anual remuneration is 13.300m...Wen u deduct tax = 11,970.Result ÷ 12= #997 is the total package/month.
BASIC SALARY is 502...I didn't say Line Head,but UNIT HEAD.

Schlumbeger, Saipem Contracting and Halliburton, which of these pays best n wat ar dia pays and allowances 4 GT or Entry Level?

Its vry difficult to get job in this comapnies now...And the buttom line is dat they employ everyday and leave one or two positions for Millions of Nigerians.

I am a member of this loving site and a production supervisor with an oil company (name withheld) offshore Nigeria but i must tell you that our salaries and allowances are mouth watering but can not be disclosed. @chik2005, I envy u.Hv actualy tried my best to penetrate one of this companies,but couldn't,I'v written quite a no of test wit them and submitted several Unsolicited applications yet nothing happened.Do u tink if i relocate completely to PH dat i myt likely bag the job?

Well, its not a matter of relocating but i must tell you, the rate of corruption and interest is the problem in getting a job in the oil industry now. Its a matter of who you know. Try to visit the company premises, ask who is who and try to get close to any big boy by hook or crook and if need be make the person know you are desperate and need the job. Most Big boys in the oil industry like being noticed and worshiped, not as God but just believe they can do it for you or nothing. lol. I'm not excluding myself buddy. When you get a job here you will understand. Just a tip i gave you.

Getting a job in the company is not about the books u know, but by the grace of God. I can do all things through Christ dat strenghtens me. Violent faith is the key my Brothers.

On a serious note, the quality of life you live is not dependent on your salary but your contentment and the person you end up marrying. We must all ask God for His will to be done. One man shall have 10talents by God's will and another 1 talent by God's will. Ask God's will to be done in your life. While its not a bad thing to desire oil jobs, be content with what you have and do it diligently while praying for a better one.
