QUANTITY SURVEYORS– (REF NO: LG/QS – 001)
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our QS/Estimation team. You will have ideally worked in a large construction company in a similar position where you have worked on residential structures. It would also be advantageous if you have experience in Estimation.
JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
The ideal candidate would prepare bill of quantities, tenders, reports and final accounts.
The ideal candidate would prepare quotations and reviews.
The ideal candidate would prepare valuations, Budgets and progress reports.
The ideal candidate would co-ordinate various projects.
The ideal candidate would follow up project changes and Amend BoQ’s.
The ideal candidate would attend to the progress of all projects and provide weekly reports.
The ideal candidate would be involved in developing and implementing of internal standard and construction methods.
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building and civil
engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of HND/B.Sc in Quantity Survey from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class honours.
A minimum of 3 – 5 years working experience in the construction Industry.
A good practical knowledge of construction procedures.
A good knowledge of contract law.
A candidate must be very proficient in the use of Microsoft office applications.
Good communication and negotiating skills.
A good team player, enthusiastic and intuitive
Ability to work without supervision.
Experience working on residential and/or marine structures
Ability to work with co-professional from different nationalities
Fluency in English at working levels
Demonstrable experience in the following areas: Project management, Budget management, Construction procurement
ARCHITECTS (REF NO: LG/ARC – 001)
We require a very creative, hardworking and flexible/ open-minded architect. The ideal candidate should be confident and articulate, and have very strong research skills as well as project management skills. He/ she must also be very creative with both architectural and interior decoration ideas.
JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Proceed with research and development of preliminary schematic designs to set the direction of the project.
Establish design requirements for the Site, its environment, utilities, zoning, development and end-user culture.
Infuse all these requirements and condition into design proposals.
Work with the project manager and other project team members from the preliminary design and drawing stage to working drawing and Execution.
Work closely with the Design and technical architect during the planning and development of the drawings.
Ensure that every document required for construction and third stage management of the architects services are on site.
Conduct site inspections and ensure strict adherence to Architects details and Development control Approved drawings.
Ensure that construction work is not only done to design and specifications but also to standard and ultimately to clients satisfaction.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
BSc/HND in Architecture from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class honours.
Possession of a Master Degree will be an added advantage.
The candidate must have good research skills, to conduct ongoing (particularly internet) research on architectural materials and concepts for improving our facilities.
We will appreciate candidates with about five years’ experience with the leading architect firms, and experience with interior design/ decoration firm will be a plus.
Excellent communication (Verbal, Written and Graphic) and Interpersonal skills
Able to Multi-task and meet deadlines
Use of AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-up, Corel Draw, Photoshop and 3D Max is an added advantage
Strong working knowledge of building codes.
A Master's degree in Architecture or Environmental Design.
3 -7 years of verifiable work experience as an architect on Multi-storey Residential and Commercial projects.
NIA and Project Management certifications are added advantage
BUILDING ENGINEERS– (REF NO: LG/BE – 001)
Building Engineers shall supervise, install, be involved in direct works, and maintain the services that are needed to construct the building to completion. Some of these services include carpentry, masonry, iron works, painting, heating, lighting, power and supply, lifts and escalators, health and safety, acoustics and security. Building engineers shall be responsible for all the functional characteristics of a building that take it from being an empty shell to a comfortable living space.
JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:.
Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives
Setting out, levelling and surveying the site
Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant
Agreeing a price for materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project
Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client/architect
Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of HND/B.Sc in Building Technology from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class honours.
Minimum of 5 years post NYSC working experience.
Possession of PMP will be an added advantage.
Must possess excellent leadership skills.
Must be a team player.
Must have a good knowledge in site supervision
Good communication skills, good computer skills, proficiency in MS office suite.
Ability to use Microsoft projects, primavera or any other project management software.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (REF NO: LG/SE – 001)
The Structural Engineer is responsible for managing the structural design/drafting activities including preparing/updating drawings for structure projects, establishing guidelines and procedures for CAD data management, and managing workload distribution within the Design department.
JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Working closely with other Central Assets team members to define, examine implications, and propose new facilities and/or facilities modifications to achieve project objectives
Provide Structural engineering input in the review and verification of design data, reports and studies
Prepare detailed designs for all steel work (e.g. supports, platforms, canopies, ladders, stairways, walkways, shelters)
Produce and review calculations, design reports and drawings for structural support of all major equipment as required
Carry out supervision and verification in accordance with company’s construction plans.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
BSc/HND in Civil Engineering (Structures) from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class honours.
Must possess a minimum of 3-4 years hands on practical work experience in a structured organization.
Must be COREN registered.
Must have the ability to use Computer Aided Design (CAD) for simulation purposes.
Must be a good team player and have the ability to work in close partnership with Architects and other professional Engineers.

The individual will ensure that all required facilities will be constructed within budget and on time. Implement complex construction projects. Lead, assign, and monitor work for a team or teams of outsourced construction companies, project management, engineers, architects etc.
JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Evaluate solution deployment options while considering cost, time, KPI’s and CHC operational requirements.
Ensure compliance with established processes and procedures
Utilize project management processes and methodologies practices; mentor Project Management as appropriate
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and within scope to meet high quality expectations
Develop accurate and detailed estimation and manage project financials in a timely manner as applicable.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Project Engineering, or Quantity Surveying from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class honours.
Possession of MBA/ M.Sc. in relevant field will be an added advantage.

MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS– (REF NO: LG/MEE – 001)
JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Coordinate, supervise and control MEP in house technical office design activity inclusive of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, special systems (data, phone, FAS etc.)
Ensure the compatibility and overlay of all systems with architectural and structural designs
Interface with external partners providing design and engineering services in order to include their work seamlessly within the project context
Provide input in the preliminary design phase regarding all MEP disciplines
Development and implementation of internal standards for MEP design
Provide a technology watch both for the MEP techniques and materials, and the technical office design tools
Establishment and implementation of quality control plans and procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS
B.Sc in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class honours.
Full membership of a recognized engineering professional institution
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a Civil/Structural Engineering position.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
Building project construction experience will be an added advantage
Ability to Work with industry practices and standards.
Possession of Working knowledge of Microsoft Offices suite applications.
Experience in structure design using AutoCAD/ProE Creo Parametric software and general civil engineering design standards.
Must have design and project supervision experience in Structures such as buildings, roads, drainages, central sewage systems etc.
Able to work with minimal supervision, efficiently schedule and manage time.
