Job Title: Coating Line operator
Reports to: Powder Coating Supervisor Business Objective: To ensure the thorough pretreatment and coating of all Steel products. The Company: Tranos designs, manufactures and installs complex mechanical, electrical and
process systems for heavy industrial and high technology clients.
Core Working Relationships: Production Manager, Coating line personnel, Production personnel, Machinists.
Accountabilities (Responsibilities)
? Ensure the pretreatment process of parts is carried out to specification.
? Ensure the powder coat application is done effectively.
? Ensure that the coating line runs optimally.
? Ensure that all coated products are finished to the highest level of quality.
? Ensure proper loading and offloading of body parts.
? Ensure that the coating equipment are used professionally.
Requirements ? A good HND in Engineering from a reputable institution. ( A degree in Chemical or production engineering will be an added advantage)
? Minimum of 1 year experience in similar role.
? Good communication and interpersonal skills.
? Good knowledge of powder coating machines and painting.
? Ability to work with minimal supervision.
? Proactive (ability to think and take initiative) and must have problem solving skills.
? Ability to work under pressure
? Must be dedicated and responsible
? Experience in the use of liquid paints will be an advantage.
