JOB DESCRIPTION

• Supervise drilling operations on the rig
• Lead and organize workforce to achieve set goals
• Coordinate the activities of a multitude of contractors and equipment in a complex drilling environment
• Analyze and solve complex well drilling and completions problems
• Required Qualifications: – Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Engineering or Sciences with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division or Lower Credit respectively

SKILLS:

• Demonstrable leadership abilities including, but not limited to, effective communication, interpersonal and
  organization skills.
  
• Ability to coordinate the activities of a multitude of contractors and equipment in a complex drilling environment
  
• Ability to analyze and solve complex well drilling and completions problems
  
• Good understanding of community and logistics issues related to drilling in the Nigerian environment
  

• Experience Minimum of Ten (10) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in any combinations of thef ollowing areas: Assistant Driller, Driller, Tool Pusher or Drilling Supervisor in an oil well drilling organization
