it is very pertinent to start a trend on this, to avoid poor performance on the forth coming test, what should be done, is if any one has idea of their test format he or she should kindly it here.
Dear All,
Chevron Nigeria Limited is committed to hiring the best individuals for positions. This is why we have to commence rigorous and aggresive preparation for the test. The PETROLEUM ENGINEER Position is a 0-2 years experience position; this means graduates can still apply. The last time this kind of advert was published was 2007/2008. Hence, this is a very rare opportunity. Let's not take it for granted!!!
Please, kindly send your comments on Chevron's Aptitude & Skills test format to this forum.

Hello House,
One of my senior friends who wrote the 2008 Chevron's Graduate engr. aptitude sent this info to me:
APTITUDE TEST:
(a) Verbal Ability (SHL format) i.e short passage with 3-4 questions with TRUE, FALSE and CANNOT SAY answers.
(b) Numerical ability: He said it's wasnt SHL. As at then it was normal 2008 GMAT quantitative aptitude. i.e if 30 men can dig 10 wells for 42days, hw many days will it take 80 men to dig the same number of 40 well.
Percentage increase and decrease questions
Word problems etc.
(c)Spatial Orientation: Exactly like Shell's SITP 1 Spatial orientation. As well as Partern series with colour codings.
TECHNICAL TEST:
(a) For chemical/ Petroleum engrs: Read your 300L thermo, fluid, Heat / mass transfer and your introduction to Reservoir Engr., some things on safety.
This is the info as at today, i will let u knw when i get more info. Please, if you have more info or attachments (exact past questions), do not hesitate to send it to this honourable house. Cheers

y must they ask abt thermo and fluid, since its a petroleum engineering position?i think the aptitude tests will be based on petroleum engineering i.e well tests, well logging, reservoir and production engineering and some simulation too.this is my own opinion not as if its the way it should be.a friend who did GT with mobil said the aptitude tests was based on this format i just gave i think chevron might do same.my opinion oooh.dont misquote me ooh.check the advert itself and ull see what im talking abt?

@All in d house,
please kindly forward any test hint for Driiling Engineers(CIVIL).....Also any sample ques on SITP Spatial orientation![]()
Drilling Engineers - since it is assumed you have a 6months to 2 years experience... get acqainted with well control procedures, types of drilling rigs and drilling/ tripping procedures, well design programs (elementry), basic engineering mathematics and gmat...
PLS WHEN IS D TEST GONNA HOLD
is the spatial question exactly the same "spatial checking" questions that came out in shell's test this year?
