    BAN SCAMMERS ON NAIJAHOTJOBS

    Hi All

As all of us can see lately, the aim of this forum (naijahotjobs) has being greatly pushed aside. Marketers, yahoo-yahoo guys and, more annoying, scammers have used this forum for their selfish reasons. The joy of communicating on this forum has being killed and buried. Guys now visit this forum with both eyes open, suspecting every information given here and hence, not able to know which information is real and which is fake.

I want to use this forum to implore the adminstrator as well as the support of all well meaning people of this forum to join in the fight against scammers in naijahotjobs. There is so much virus and worm in the system and I believe it's time to clean up the system.

How do we do this? I propose that every ID that is confirmed to have misled or scam innocent people on this forum should be banned. Such ID should be denied further access. Adminstrator, please do something to show that this forum is organised and well managed. I believe, people of this forum have better contributions to make as regards flushing out the bad eggs. Please make it here...

I am strongly in support of this. Also we can send this scammers ID to the authority in charger. With the bank details they always provide. Thanks

    Helo,
That has been part of the major work of the administrators here. We will advice that if U come across any scammer with real proofs report to an administrator so that the account of such person will be blocked. Lets come together to fight this ugly trend.
    Thanks!

We should also warn 'scam job seekers'. They look for test questions and fall into the hands of phil, onome and co. They are so desperate that they pay so-called agents in the name of job hunt.

If scam job seekers can repent then job scammers would be frustrated out of business.

Guy, when even 'troublemaker' like you don support this fight, then it shows that this scammers must really be a pain in the . Yeah, the much we can do as regards job seekers is to warn them. But we cant control their desperation. Desperation is sometimes a useful tool to acheiving what one wants in life. Hence, lets bother about what we can control which is blocking all known scammers ID period!

Who runs naijahotjobs sef? Why can't each section have a moderator who will delete unnecessary posts and contact admin to ban spammers? We should vote for moderators!!! Who's with me?
    Grace upon grace...I'm favoured.

    @Superbrain, nice one,
But I think we already have some here and of cos, one of dem is very active. or perhaps more active moderators per-board.

I will also suggest that instead of moving some of those funny post to other boards, they should be deleted outrightly. it will serve dem lessons

    also if posible, Admin should
create an Auto-delete program to automatically delete suspecting post from new-users/newbies

and for old-users junior/full/senior/hero members/moderators or even dvt/admin, their account should be deactivated
after their suspecting post must have gone thru scrutiny by selected users.

May God make provision for His pple b4 some good-users becomes Format Producer.

@Superbrain, good suggestions and we are working on it. there are moderators who check all the sections and delete inappropriate posts and scammers posts. There are several moderators and more are being added to the list.

@oilprince, the posts are being deleted outrightly, some are moved to the scam watch board, but the problem we the GMs usually face here is that we have to delete the same post several times in an hour, as in the person keeps reposting it even after it has been deleted. At times, some of the moderators have to go the extent of calling and warning such people. and at times when the accounts are deactivated, some still come back opening a new account with another e-mail addy and user account. It's like "fighting against corruption" in which some people knowingly frustrate the efforts of the fighters.

We will work on your suggestions, superbrain and oilprince.

    More suggestions are welcome

@Toluluck et all the GM; I really can understand what you do through daily...I say more power to your elbows

Pls can U also add a radio button or a highlighted "REPORT" jut like the "QUOTE", to each pereson's post so we can also assist in reporting violators, but in this case the "SUBMIT" (POST) button would lead to the msg box of the designated GM or any of the GMs
