Yeah,its truely Drillog but the issue is that that format given above was used two years ago.i did their test last year and believe me it was partly theory and partly objectives.16 questions in all.you have to apply everything you learnt since infancy unless they will revert to the usual format.

We are many that we did the company test last year but only 24 of us are picked for the Interview but after the interview I was not picked but I learnt they pick some. The Company name is DRILLOG PETRO-DYNAMICS LIMITED, PLOT 104, PMB 047 TRANS AMADI INDUSTRIAL LAYOUT PORT HARCOURT. BEFORE MOTHER CART JUNCTION THAT IS THE LOCATION OF THE COMPANY(BESIDE RENARD FAST FOOD. the compay website is www.drillogpdl.com
For Last year, The test consist of 3 Theory and 13 Objectives making total of 18 Questions.
The theory question is analyse below:
1) We are given a simple Logic gate circuit of AND and NOR gate and we are told to draw the truth table.
2) We are given a small maths. the question goes like this: I am 9 more than the sum of ages of my two sons. I am 29 when the Senior son was born and the senior son was 4years more than the Junior son. How old am I?
SOLUTION
Let My age be I and Senior Son be S and Junior Son be J
Then from 1st statement I=S+J+9
From 2nd Statement I=29 when S=0, Implies I=S+29 Years now or S=I-29
from 3rd Statement S=J+4
Then matching the equation together we have
I=S+29=(J+4)+29=J+33 i.e J=I-33
Then I=S+J+9=(I-29)+(I-33)+9
I=2I-53
53=2I-I
I=53yrs (Answer)
try others
S=53-29=24yrs and J=24-4=20yrs Confirm 24+20+9=53yrs.

3) That 3rd Question I dont think anybody answer the question, I can not remember it exactly but this is some I can remember from it: I am a Fire, If you change one letter I will become Rank and if you also change one letter Iwill become Clearing. what is the first and last word

The Objectives consist of projectiles(Time of flight, maximum height and Range) , Efficiency calculation for electric motors and some small small mechanics and applied electricity in physics with two drilling Obj questions but formular is given for one just substitute. The test is very simple bcos during the interview they told me that I got 85% and the person that lead got 90% therefore you have to get a high score before you can be call for interview upto 70% because it depend on people performance in the test. Which shows Mechanical, Electrical, Reasoning and Mathematical test
TIME ALLOWED
I was in the 1st batch out of the 4 batches that attend the test on 12 March,2009 and initially they gave us 2Hrs but some of us are submitting before 45Minutes and then they collect all the paper in 1Hr and then they are now given all the other batches 1Hr instead of 2Hrs because they complain that the time is much that is why we are submitting before 1Hr elapse. If you know it you can spend more than 30minutes.
But do not based on these alone because people that attend the test in 2008 told us that they brought GMAT of 2008 Verbal and Numerical Reasoning test and calculator is allowed for both test but in 2009 they told us to come along with scientific calculator that is why we press sine and cosine.
They told me they pay N70,000.00 but some one I saw infront of the company working there say it is basic salary and there is field allowance which is N10,000.00 per day for the 5 working days i.e 200,000.00 per month if there is work for the whole 5days for the whole month meaning if you did not go to the field throughout the whole month you will be paid N70,000.00 only.
