@doomsbridge, i heard about the school that most or all of the lecturers come from top schools in US and the school has very good facilities also.
anyway, do u av any idea of the entrance exam? dates and what format it will be?

Hi greatdon, maybe you should tell us. I believe you are the right person to give us the info since you are right there in Abuja and you know. I'm limited only to the AUST website. I refer you to your yersterday post:

AUST is African University of Science and Technology and the school has students from different countries in africa.
The exam dates will be communicated to the shortlisted applicants. I think the exam entails Maths and Physics and maybe Chemistry for Material Science and Engineering.

@ doombridge, i wonder if we have met before becos of the tone of ur statement; by the way, i only came to abuja briefly on a visit....

I am also limited to the info that I get from the website and that which a friend told me.
u quoted me well , my statement starts with " i think" not becos i av the info but because it's what someone thinks it should be. there is possibility of it being correct or wrong.

if you have any info, u can always communicate it to the house.

@ Doombridge and greatdon. Pls let's resurrect this AUST exam format.The date of the exam has been fixed for 7th May,2010.
Or if anyone in the house knows the format or has a friend in the school that knows the format,pls let's hear it.

@kaypapa, just coming to this thread for the first time. for me, i am yet to make up my mind. the stress of travelling to abj without them refunding me transport fare, is enough for me to just shun it and go for my shell exam which is also that same weekend.

Please does anyone hv any idea or gist about the nature of this entrance test?

i wonder why this thre for applications ad wasnt resurrected in time.... they actually moved their closing date till april 30th... i guess i ve missed this one too... i jst always manage to be behind schedule for all this skool thingy... maybe skool isn't my style!!!!

@gemstone thanks for offering to help... but it is technically impossibble to achieve that bcos of the need to ve references sign. COnsidering where my references are, i cant make it....
I wish all the applicants the best. More so i cant even make the trip to Abuja.... the stress is too much

@ eznira, like I said in the other thread, try and give it a try. I learnt that those candidates that are going through PTDF don't av much probs. And the school is world-class. I guess u've been to their website.
