A. Business Development Executives (Lagos, Eket & Port Harcourt)

– Reporting to the business Development manager. Three BDEs: One BDE for Lagos accounts, one for Eket & the other BDE for Port Harcourt accounts. Overall purpose of job is to identify, develop and maintain mutually beneficial business and relationships with profitable customers.Responsibilities:Build customer profile by identifying immediate term goals and evaluating customer’s capabilities Define strategy for relating with each customer group and create a Customer Relationship Plan per group Collate client-specific intelligence and weekly report Generate Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and Purchase Orders (PO) Follow up and generate leads for building construction projects Effectively manage each customer account to ensure those sales targets are fully achieved. Collate and communicate business intelligence Ensure full payment for all supplies and services. Reconcile customers accounts and ensure proper documentation Prospect for and acquire new and financially viable high volume customers. Identify and recommend as most appropriate, technical assistance for key customers Provide regular updates on plans and progress Demonstrate consistent business development success and target-driven achievement Key Performance Indicators:Number of viable leads identified Target vs. Actual Revenue and profit Revenue from new customers as percentage of total revenue Customer satisfaction levels Accuracy of client information in customer database Frequency & Accuracy of data on market/customer trends/intelligence Percentage of RFQs converted to POs Percentage of proposals/quotations converted to contracts Percentage achievement of goals stated in customers plan Receivable days outstanding per customer Percentage of orders delivered to customer on time Person Specification:A good first degree Minimum of 2 years experience Excellent working knowledge of the Nigerian oil industry (upstream sector) Proven ability to advice clients Proven track record of winning business Proven account management experience in the oil industry Direct sales & marketing experience into E&P companies Self starter, self motivated Sound computing skills (Minimum Microsoft Office) Proven presentation & persuasive skills Proven experience of working with minimum supervision Ability to process RFQs by sourcing foreign oilfield materials will be an added advantage Required Competencies:Sales and marketing Relationship Management Information Sourcing & Analysis Planning and control Industry knowledge Product knowledge Integrity Result-Orientation Team Player Customer focus Time Management PC Skills General RequirementsDemonstrate clear understanding of overall company offerings Demonstrate detailed understanding of services to be promoted Proactively promote all agreed company services Add value by identifying new business opportunities Undertake regular visits to all companies and potential clients in his business area as necessary Undertake visits to locations outside of Lagos or Port Harcourt as required Proactively generate quantifiable business from all identified companies Provide regular updates on progress and plans Conduct self and represent company in a professional manner Keep abreast of and advise on ongoing industry developments that may impact company Communicate market requirements within the organization via input into the company’s strategic planning process Liaise with the bid team to prepare bids and quotations as required Demonstrate consistent business development success and target-driven achievement Mode of Application: Interested applicants to send CV, application, covering letter, and copies of credentials with the position applied for on the top right hand side of the envelope to:
