Sorry I know my topic is misleading but come to think of it, these companies i just mentioned are multinationals operating in Nigeria (port harcourt & Lagos) and i have never heard they recruit

@AMEC - They specialize in Engineering design: conceptual, front end and detailed designs with office at V/island
@air energi : not too sure of them but their office is at V/Island
@afren: Exploration and production company with office at octogon building, marinho drive
@statoil: exploration and production company with office at ikoyi, bourdillion road

What you should know is most of this oil and gas coy mentioned above I guess do in-house recruitment as I've been to there office and what they tell u is to keep checking their website for possible openings and if u keep a good check on them, U'll realise they don't post anything there, going there another time to ask for the person you spoke with initially, they tell u he's longer with them, meaning he's been replaced by someonelse yet no advert for that position was placed online.
I ve a relative at Afren and he told me Afren doesn't massively recruit Graduate Trainees.They make use of few experienced hands because most of the core engineering works they do is being contracted out so they dont maintain in-house engineering staff as expected.They have just like 5 engineering seniors who supervise the conractors.
Please dont begin a career with Dubri Oil.A typical Nigerian Coy with so many deficiencies.You dont want to quit a Job after a few months do you?
