It would really be nice to have people who have had a stab at this aptitude test to come here and say what it looked like.I know some folks wrote when it was paper based,heard it's now computer based.I am sure we would gain a thing or two from whatever experience you may have.

I would like to get a general idea of how the exams look.Someone said it might be SHL,but i would expect PTDF to bring a blend of career specific questions and general knowledge.
So let's roll!

Ptdf questions are general knowledge and career related questions NOT SHL based questions. Based on last year mode, section A(general paper) carry 30 multiple choice questions that cover areas of sport, politics, business, history, geography, wild lives, oil and gas etc while section B(Specific paper) consist of 20 multiple choice questions that cover basic aspect of ur field of specialization. Mostly 300L basic laws, calculations, theories etc.

Namtari you rock! Thanks for the heads up.I am already at work on section 1.I don't think the calculations would apply to me since am not an engineering graduate.Basic theories and laws of Geology,maybe.

Check your status on PTDF website.That would spell out whether you are shortlisted or not.
