Help me thank GOD o. Got 2 jobs at d same time. One of them is an A level schl as a teacher with pay of 100k and d other a telco with pay 45k per month+laptop + traveling allowee(4500)per nite inclding fud and accom. Which is beta o
What did u study and how often will u be travelling?
I studied civil engin. Their jobs are 85% field
Go ask oga umaru?
go for the teaching job, more pay, u get to learn more as u impact knowledge in others and u have more time 4 urself bcos u get 2 observe holidays and all that, u can get urself a laptop of ur choice with one month pay, I hate travelling its risky... Lucky U
For me dat school is not going to help ur CV if you desire to pursue a fulfiling career in practical civil engineering, teaching is not as easy as u think o..i ve been there n done dat.but if u are after the money my broda carry go.like i said 4me i prefer to travel n work around to gain experience and exposure.but finally consider job security.
Two things to consider:
What you really want and Job Security.
Wats your passion. Follow it not the money and you will smile cos you wont even know when the month will end.
Then the security. Weigh both and find the average. Over
I'll advice u to go for the telco offer. It's an opportunity for career progression in ur field of study. Furthermore, it wud boost your CV for any bigger opportunities out there. Experience is the ultimate my broda. Wishing u God's wisdom in ur choice....Cheers
Why can't u do ur-self a favour; sit down & pounder. y did u study civil engr. @ d university? y did u want 2 limit ur career 2 teaching? remember its an engineering company which will provide more room for experiences. 45k might b d minimum pay 4 entry level & there's a tendency for increment lets say after six months depends on ur performance. THINK MY BRODER! THINK!!
I will advise you do for the telecom job. Just gather the experince and before you know it you will get other offers which cld even be 10 times or more your current pay. pls look at the big picture and not what you will get now!
in 2011, ther will be diversity of breakthroughs for members of this forum.
this is the very beginning of the goodness of the Lord.
it will be a problem choosing jobs.
career consultancy would be a lucrative profession.
it will happen in your life
Pls go for d 45k position. If its about d money, u might end up gettin more than 100k in a month if u have lots of travellin assignments. U gain hands on experience, u get to network n learn of better opportunities. In all, it will b an interesting life. Trust me, teaching can become boring n routine.
@KINZEY;congrats!God don dey answer our prayers o!
are you married? if yes, ask your wife, if no where will you be travelling to? i hope not JOS, etc
for career building, I will advice u go for telco
When you say A level I want to believe it is a lecturing job. If it is so I think it is also good for your career as U????? can teach, pursue to get ur masters and still get a respected job in any coy.
The choice is yours....
