Job Description
An International Operating Company in Lagos, Nigeria is looking to recruit various Technical Assistants for their Management, Materials and Offshore Installation teams.


The puprose of this job is to provide technical assistance to the Managers and staffs of the Materials Group, Offshore Installation Group and General Administrative Group.


In particular, these jobs carry the responsibilies for creating and maintaining numerous records within the various department, for ease of future access and retrieval.
Control document management within the Company and ensure naming conventions are maintained.
Assist in preparing technical data, reports, presentations, database management and secretarial tasks.
Maintain and update documentation and database.
Maintain transmittal records (incoming
Set up and maintain the various Group’s project planning charts.
Maintain the Groups technical library, and a record of the documentation held.
Enhance document drafts submitted by the Groups in Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
To routinely produce as defined and agreed with the Managers of the various groups.
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration or equivalent Technical Discipline.
A minimum of 2 years in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry or major contractor with at least 1 year experience in a similar position.
Excellent communications skills.
Understanding of Oil and Gas Project Management requirements
Good organisational, as well as verbal and written communication skills.
Logical thought, to aid setting up database systems and document records.
