Dear lawal, hammed adisa,We write to you as medical Consultants appointed by the Vehicle Inspection Office Driver and Vehicle Licencing Administration to conduct medical fitness examination for FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT APPLICANTS shortlisted for interview scheduled for 14th and 21st January 2012.

No: 2019032267 at any First Bank branch nationwide. You are to present the bank payment teller to any of our designated laboratories listed below for the medical test. Your Bank payment teller and medical report will be certified by
RIVERLAND HOSPITAL officials at the venue of the physical fitness exercise on 14th January, 2012.
The medical test is expected to commence from Monday 19th December, 2011 to Friday 13th January, 2012. Applicants are call the nearest laboratory for appointment on payment of the medical fee. We strongly advise you facilitate your medical test immediately in view of the large number of applicants. The average waiting time for appointment may extend to 2 weeks depending on the State. I just called their haedquarters in Abuja to confirm and its real, the man that picked the call confided on me that there is no no element of scam there and considering that these laboratories are all reputable organisations the fear of scam should not be there. Honestly, i think its out of place to ask us to pay a whoping sum of 1,500 naira for medicals! Ordinarily, they ought to call for this medical at the very last stage. I think its a huge form of exploitation to demand such money from thousands of unemployed youth. If actually its a federal job, why on earth wont they ask us to go to any of the federal hospitals? I'm not saying its a scam i'm only questioning the rationale behind this exorbitant fee.

I have just received a text by VIOD-VLA on my phone. So I believe it is real not scam. Som1 called d headoffice in Abuja and he confirmed it also. D same people dat are discouraging wil b dose u eventually see there. I just dont know y u guys are surprised wit d N1500 sha. We all know abt FRSC and NDLEA whereby we bought employment form wit some people not even shortlisted for test. Fed Govt are wicked and merciless, stealthily trying to get money back from us. @salim! Theres no big deal in paying this 1k5! Some of us are only asking questions so we dont fall prey in the hands of this jobless SCAMERS. Let me reiterate the questions i once asked in this forum as regards this VIO DVLA RECRUITMENT:

1. Was this job widely advertised on national dailies?

2. Is it a federal or state job?

3. If its a federal or state job as it were, why didnt they direct us to visit and of d state of fed medical centers?

4. Why is diz medical test coming at this early stage. Atleast, it should've come after the fitness and interview stage when the numbers of applicant would have been drastically reduced.

4. And did you realized that this job wasnt widely publicized like FRSC, NDLEA, etc? Or is it on coded?

Hello @ y'all... I'v read through all the comments & I found just one, most astounding.. that by the fellow who advised liasing with the said labs b4 payment of #1500.. that's a sound pre-cautionary move for all. Never, ever, throw caution to the wind, esp. in ds our dear country, Naija.
Dnt get deceived or carried away by msgs or mails just because they carry d tag of d firm u suposedly applied.. jus last week some fell to a pseudo-real scam of a firm known as PASCIET.

@all. I went to VIO Head Office here in Abuja to confirm abt the recruitment. Lo and Behold, i was told that VIO is not conducting any nationwide recruitment. I told them dat i shortlisted and show dem the textmsg on my fone. I learnt that the VIO Director General said he is in search on the person(s) behind the unauthorised recruitment. Guys make we shine our eyes ooooo.

Hummm! 4ur info, i was invited mr musco or wht eva u call ur self. Wht are u stil waitin 4, why dnt u walk into any first bank and make d payment. My friend was once a victim of such, moreover i hv a gud payin job already, so i only pity my naija applicant.
