Hamilton Lloyd and Associates - Our client is a mid- size engineering and project management company with businesses in home building, real estate, telecommunications and power sectors in Lagos, Nigeria but with operations in other African countries ( Gabon, Ghana, Congo Uganda and Tanzania). Due to internal expansion in their Lagos branch, they have decided to hire and Executive Assistant for the CEO. As a critical member of the team, maturity, integrity and ability to function at a strategic level are crucial aspects of this position.

Job Description:
The candidate will be the principal executive and administrative support person for the CEO of this multi – dimensional organization, thereby performing a vitally important role. The successful candidate will have a sincere interest in the continuous improvement of the performance of the company, possess excellent administrative and relational skills, value attention to detail, and be able to handle a variety of activities and tasks.
Major Responsibilities:
- Take the heavy lifting off the CEO
- Be the right hand man of the CEO
- Represent the CEO in a professional and congenial manner in person, in telephone
- conversations, and in written correspondence.
- Write proposals, prepare and make presentations
- Write letters and other correspondence for the CEO, including letters of agreement
- Discreet handling of confidential information
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for various projects
- Oversee the development and preparation of budgets for specific projects of the Organization
- Approve proposals and requests on behalf of the CEO
- Trouble shoot and problem solve on behalf of the CEO
- Track and monitor performance and accounts
- Ensure compliance to set standards and procedures
- Follow up with outcomes of meetings on behalf of the CEO
- Ensuring processes are adhered to and new process introduced where necessary
- Assist with filing and organization of information.

- Maintain the office calendar, including the schedule for the CEO.
- Assist with other executive and administrative tasks as assigned by the CEO

Education and Experience:
- Engineering or Project Management degree and a Masters in Business Administration
- 10 - 15 years post - graduation work experience preferably in telecommunications, engineering and project management.
