Job Description/Responsibilities
The Accounting officer position at our firm is responsible for the execution of financial statements and reports, proper record keeping of stocks and the supervision of the general Accounting function. It requires maintaining financial security by establishing internal controls verifying documentation and requesting disbursements; as well as assisting managers in reviewing budget reports and budget forecasts.

Qualifications/Skills
To succeed at this job, you must have knowledge of accounting principles in both manual and automated systems. You’ll also need to be able to guide Accounting department clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering accounting procedure questions; train staff employees in accounting, payroll, and accounts payable; and supervise the completion of all federal and state tax returns.

Education/Background
We require a Bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) in Accounting; minimum of four years’ working experience with top management in the preparation and completion of the annual working budget, and assisting with planning and implementing changes in an accounting system
