ADVERTISEMENT FOR ACCOUNTS OFFICER
Kadick Integrated Nigeria Ltd hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position of Account Officer. Interested candidates should possess a BSc degree in Accounting with a minimum of 2 years experience in the same role. The selected candidate will perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient running of the accounts function in the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Apply all relevant Policy, Processes, and Procedures at all times.
• Responsible for recording daily petty cash transactions and daily reconciliation with physical balance for correctness and completeness.
- Budget management for petty cash transactions ensuring disbursements are in line with budgeted figures.
• Monthly preparation of bank reconciliation statements for all banks balances.
• Set invoices up for payment and process cheque requests.
• Reconciliation of payments received and analysis of all accounts (including the bank) to the customers balances.
• Ensure strict adherence to credit limits and account receivables period for all customers are always within company’s policy
• Maintain the records of all transactions and correspondences for all suppliers and customers.
• Review daily stock reports from inventory officers ensuring correctness and completeness in transactions.
- Verify sales from the various locations and confirm receipts of payments received from customers
- Quarterly preparation and circularization of customers to ensure performance of outstanding balances and appropriate valuation of debtors reported.
• Keep a record of all advance payments and ensure adequate recognition in the books.
• Post all transactions correctly and into the appropriate accounts using the Adempiere ERP daily.
• Proper filing of internally generated documents and also documents received from third parties.
