1. Job Title: Expediter Pressure Vessels-Piping & Bulk Material

Tasks/Activities
The SERVICE holder will be:

  • Involvement in procurement expediting team activities and monitor the Pressure Vessels –Piping & Bulk delivery plan. Report to the Expediter Lead in Lagos Nigeria.
  • Maintain constant surveillance of the Vendors and regularly provide status update to the Expediter Lead in Nigeria.
  • Liaise with QA/QC team to coordinate any witnessing FAT required on the Vendor premises
  • Ensure full collection and safekeeping of vendor documentation (datasheet evolution, material certificates, QA/QC reports, FAT report and delivery inspection report) for traceability.
  • Monitor Pressure Vessels – Piping & Bulk delivery schedule and any constrain or issues related. Communicate any potential schedule or quality issue to Hierarchy.
  • Supervise the delivery/ handover of EPC contractor procured items from vendors to EPC work locations. Maintain appropriate recording of materials/ equipment status.
  • Ensure attendance of company competent personnel at all delivery and acceptance points.
  • Coordinate the acceptance process of incoming materials to ensure the material is accepted in timely and comply with the regulations.
  • Conduct and organize physical inspection upon materials are received to ensure the physical condition is appropriate with the requirement.

  • Ensure that all planned Surveillance and Test activities comply with the specified requirements

  • Ensure that OPERCOM philosophy is integrated in Vendor’s and Supplier’s precommissioning and commissioning philosophy.

  • Report Quality Progress and conformance to Package F/up Delivery & Hand Over Engineer in Korea on a regular defined basis.
  • Attending FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and final inspection at vendor’s and supplier’s facility.
  • Consolidating all the punch list and outstanding items at vendor’s and Sub-supplier’s.
  • VDB (Vendor Data Book) and final documentation of vendor’s and supplier’s follow-up
  • To maintain a tracking register of Contractor technical queries, CARs, NCRs and expedite the clearance of these documents as required.

2. Job Title: Planning and Reporting Engineer
Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria, Africa
Activities
The missions of the job holder are :

  • Update the LLIs Equipment work breakdown structure.
  • Elaborate, update and revise the LLIs Equipment schedule.
  • Elaborate and revise the LLI planning & progress measurement procedures and documents.
  • Follow closely the activities of the contractors planning engineer(s).
  • Monitor closely the contractor’s execution schedule and verify progress reports with special attention to interface key dates (documents and equipment delivery dates).
  • Check and comment on the contractor’s procedures, schedules and methodology.

3. Job Title: Senior Process Engineer
Job Location: Lagos
Activities

  • Follow-up of detailed engineering development activities progress related to Process (i.e process/utilities) systems for the entire FPSO by the EPC contractor, the LLI vendors and packages vendors. This includes the review and comment of engineering and vendor documentation to ensure compliance with design dossier, SOR, Company specifications, Corporate standard and HSE regulation, international codes, BV and SOLAS applicable rules.
  • Supervision, control, review and co-ordination of Detailed Process Engineering development in compliance with Project specifications and Procedures, Company General Specifications, discipline requirements and international codes, with respect of cost, schedule and required level of quality and safety applicable to this project.
  • Review of the dynamic simulation calculations reports, P&IDs, datasheets, material selection, control and safety philosophies, sizing calculations, H&M balances, etc…

5. Job Title: Rotating Engineer
Job Location: Lagos
Activities

  • Ensure a continuous interface follow-up related to COMPANY LLI equipment between Vendors and Contractor.
  • Follow-up of detailed engineering & construction development activities related to rotating equipment design development for entire FPSO rotating equipment (Topsides and Hull). This includes the review and comment of engineering and vendor documentations via PRODOM to ensure compliance with design dossier, SOR, Company specifications, corporate standard and HSE regulation, international codes, BV and SOLAS applicable rules.
  • Monitor the performance of the Contractor. Initiate and implement corrective actions when the performance of the Contractor deviates from what is expected. Review and analyze Contractor’s work progress, and coordinate with Project Planning Engineer to ensure timely completion of critical path activities. Advise regularly Project Management team about the discipline situation.
  • Monitor engineering, procurement, construction, expediting, Factory Acceptable Test (FAT) for discipline related activities. Participate with Contractor to progress meetings and to the inspections at vendors’ plants when/as required.
  • Review and comment Contractor & Vendors documents in due time. Ensure the return of COMPANY comments in due time.
  • Report regularly the activities status to Lead discipline engineer and project management for both topside and hull scopes.
  • Provide recommendations on spare parts.
  • Review vendors’ progress reports and instigate remedial actions where necessary.
  • Review vendors’ proposed technical deviations and coordinate proper technical/quality review, approval and response. Coordinate with DEV/TEC specialists in HQ when required.

6. Job Title: Project Engineer
Job Location: Lagos
Service Dimensions

  • Coordination and administration of assigned Site Modification Requests.
  • Apply standard project engineering and administration methods to Site Modification Requests.

Activities

  • Interface with various COMPANY stakeholders (e.g. HSE, FO, ECP, Logistics, etc.) to identify and consolidate a clear scope of work, contractual strategy, schedule, manpower requirements, long-lead items, etc.
  • Prepare project execution plans, typically including: project description, work breakdown structure, schedule, master document register, contractual and procurement strategy, and a detailed narrative of all engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and closure activities associated with the project.
  • Coordinate with the Project Services department in the development of cost estimates.
  • Interface and coordinate with subcontractors to obtain and consolidate information, e.g. input into project execution plans, weekly and monthly progress reports and other performance data, safety reports and statistics, manpower and schedule information, etc.

7. Job Title: Progress Reports Assistant
Job Location: Lagos

During Requisition and purchasing process up to PO:

  • Follow-up all steps from the Requisition process up to PO done by SHIN.
  • Set up and maintain a procurement register with expected and actual dates of each procurement steps. Highlight discrepancies to the Head Procurement/Expediting.
  • At Procurement /Expediting Lead request organize Vendors/Subcontractors audits liaising with participants and organizing relevant logistics
  • Participate, with impacted members of the procurement team, to regular procurement management meeting (CFT process reviews; vendor selection; follow-up/ status updates and delivery planning).

During PO Execution Phase

  • Be the focal point for organization and logistic of vendors regular inspections, FAT’s and secure their implementation in liaison with vendors, SHIN and participants from project engineering team and Quality team

He reports hierarchically to the Turret Construction Superintendent, with functional reporting to Buoy Package Manager and UFR HSE Leader.
The holder of the position shall in particular be responsible to:

  • Monitor the implementation of the approved Contractor and sub-contractor project HSE plan and referenced procedures including bridging documents,
  • Participate in Risk Assessment and SERVICE Safety Analysis studies dedicated to construction operations in hands and ensure they comply with related client General Specifications and Guide manuals,
  • Monitor and report the Health, Safety and Environmental performance of the Contractor and its sub-contractors on site,
  • Undertake site HSE audits & inspections, and ensure corrective action recommendations are conclusively closed-out,
  • Ensure Hazard identification/reporting, accident reporting and investigation are continuously undertaken,
  • Participate in the site emergency preparedness and follow-up the improvement measures undertaken after the regular exercise,
  • Take part in the preparation and attend the meetings of the site HSE committees,
  • Focus on the early identification of potential problems and to propose appropriate solutions to HSE Superintendent,
  • Attend regular meetings with contractors’ HSE representatives to discuss and agree on HSE concerns and potential hazards,
  • Be proactive in promoting HSE awareness at all levels within the project team and contractor personnel,
  • Monitor the implementation of control measures identified during risk analyses while carry out the construction activity,
  • Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents to determine their underlying causes, report anomalies and check corrective actions,
  • Monitor the implementation of actions arising from incident, accident, audit and inspection analyses,
  • Check first aid materials and equipment are available on the sites,
  • Carry out any other duties or tasks that may be assigned by his hierarchical superiors,

HSE

  • Fully comply with office security, health and safety instructions,
  • Stay vigilant and maintain continuous awareness of hazards and surroundings,
  • Also take care of colleagues’ safety and behaviour without hesitating to intervene as much as necessary,
  • Give his own input and making sure the workplace is safe (obviously clean and tidy),
  • When in doubt, ask questions to gain clarification.


Accountabilities

The SERVICE holder shall be fully accountable and directly responsible for:


  • Monitoring of implementation of approved Project HSE Plan and contractual HSE requirements (Exhibit L) in all client activities at the Turret yard,
  • Implementation of safety and security awareness and promotion of best practices with adequate emphasis on the 12 Golden Rules,
  • Supervision of Health, Safety, Environment and Security activities and reporting of related performance.
