Urgent Vacancy for Site Accountant

JOB POSITIONS IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

Our Client is an established multinational construction company [with Irish origins] with projects all over Nigeria including Abuja and Lagos. With a growing profile of projects, a need has arisen for the recruitment of management staff. They have commenced a project for ASO/AIDC in Karsana , just off the Kubwa Expressway beside the Papal ground. The 1st phase is a scheme of 35 apartment blocks, each containing 6 apartments. The overall scheme is in the region of 945 homes, retail, schools etc
The company is also about to commence a scheme of 36 high quality townhouses in Wuye District, Abuja.

Post: Site Accountant
Experience: 7 years Minimum, with 5yrs minimum as a site accountant (engaged in Site work environment).
Qualification: Excellent Communication (written and verbal), ability to work with artisans, Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, proficient in Microsoft Packages, Quick Books & Excel.

1. Work Fully Based at Project Sites
2. Regular traveling

3. Monitoring over daily labour Bill against Work and checking Work Order (W/O) along with release the payment.
4. Becoming the liaison between Site office and Head Office by Coordinating with Senior Accountant for Proper accounting Activities
5. Cash handling and payment voucher/ receipt voucher handling, Bank reconciliation.
6. Prepared Monthly report by collecting data from the various site·
7. Handle all day to day accounts related activities
8. Work assigned by the reporting manager time to time·
9. Stock maintenance and their bill maintenance
10. Preparation of monthly Creditors List of material suppliers and Contractors
11. Handling Cash Payment and Receipt
12. Handling Bank Payment and Bank receipt & Monthly Account settlement
13. Dealing with financial institution, taxation
14. Arranging inbound and dispatch logistics
