Responsibilities
Ensures the agreed project management methods, standards and processes are maintained throughout the
project lifecycle.
Shall be responsible for the Project Board Meeting Agenda, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for
procurement process with regards to; travel, feeding housing, in a timely manner within budget. With limited
vendor management and RFP, RFQ, RFI, BoQ, TOR and Statement of Work Documentation
The Project Coordinator shall get all sign off as and when necessary from the Project Board. Will assists the
Project Manager and Team Managers in the production and maintenance of project plans and reports.
Develops and maintains the project library, filing, recording and reporting systems.
Co-ordinates the production of all reports and produce project summary reports.
Sets up and maintains systems for recording project costs.
Defines and document procedures in accordance with agreed methodology
Advises and assists project team members in the application of project procedures, disciplines and recording
and reporting standards.
Maintains change control records, develop and support effective communication mechanisms between the
project teams.
Prepares Project Board Presentations
Provides the executives with ad hoc and periodic Project environmental reports specifically to do with financials,
lessons learnt and risks
Develop and support effective communication mechanisms between the project teams and the rest of the
organization.
Business Process Developer for the Project Management Function
Ensures Continuous Project Manager improvements through training and coaching
Project Management Training for the organizations project team members – specifically around in house
processes
Requirements:
A first degree in Social Sciences or BEng, BSc, BTec, Required
7 years post National Service work experience (NYSC is mandatory)
Must have a minimum of 5 years telecom experience in a corporate environment
Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Outstanding Process and Systems Documentation, Attention to Detail, Highly
Organised, Conflict Resolution, Presentation Skills, Excellent Communication skills, Highly Organised, Team
Oriented and Leadership, High Tolerance for Stress, Problem Management (analysis and resolution), Customer
Service Orientation, Relationship Builder, High level of Integrity, Time and Priority Management Skills, People
Management and Negotiation skills. Superior analytical Skills
Demonstrates independent ownership and management of tasks. Proven ability to work in a team; sharing
information, ideas, developing and maintains relationships. Strong level of professionalism in dealing with highly
confidential information. Strong communication/relationship skills and proven track record of wide scale client
interaction.
Must have good knowledge of handling Telecommunication or Engineering projects
Proficiency in the use of relevant computer applications for financial reporting and project management.
