Union Bank Thread! Am truly sori 4 Deleting it!

if ur pregnant,dnt panic! She said union is an international bank wit foreign investors and that they treat evrybody equally. They dnt discriminate.
Evn doz dat wil b due 4 delivery in 6wks tym were advicd to write a leta to d management so dat they shift them to d 3rd batch. I suspect d 3rd batch mite b d last becus she stressd dat there are only 131 in d waitn list!

it depends on the number they would be needing I guess cos we weren't told if those that haven't been called for medicals will be considered but we were just told that 131 people were still on the waitiing list including those who chose to join the 3rd batch from the 1st may be due to pregnacy reasons,or other pressing issues,but for those who have alrealdy done there medicals I think there is great hope

Union Bank of Nigeria Plc has promoted 636 of its deserving staff, culminating in the promotion of 1,000 staff over the last three year in an exercise aimed at boosting the morale of its workforce. And in a bid to inject fresh blood into the system, a total of 360 entry trainees have also been recruited, bringing the total numbers of trainees employed over the last three years to 1,000 under the current management led by Mrs Funke Osibodu.In addition, the bank has concluded arrangement to hire 200 experienced professional staff in addition to 140 already hired over the last 3years in order to consolidate the repositioning exercise, which has lifted the lender into the league of the top banks in the country.The recent 360 entry levels staff recruited according to a statement from the bank, have commenced two months intensive training in 3 batches with the first batch of 120 very close to concluding their technical training, and the 2nd batch recently commencing same.A similar training was done for the 640 entry level staff initially employed two years ago. These group of 640 staff are now about to commenced another two and half weeks advance level training.To reward hard work, Union Bank has also commenced an appraisal system with payment of part of compensation based on performance. Consequently, staffers whose performance were assessed as below acceptable minimum standard are expected to exit the bank. It is gathered that some staff with poor performance have already been exited from the bank.

guys beta b prayerful especialy doz dat hvnt done medikals. There are only 131 on d waitn list. And i heard earlier dat many dat did medikals wit us were shiftd to 3rd batch,they shld b upto 50 or more as sum1 postd earlier.

150k after or before tax/pension and other deductions?

Another quick question what of during d job u get another job what is the consequence of d bond uve signed ?so someone should knw what he is getting into before he signs all those forms oo

@shaquizy, if you get a job after signing the bond, you pay 2mila or the fraction of the bond remaining. For example, if you have one year left, you pay one million! Pakam!

It's for the 6 week training,I guess they collapsed a lot of things into it.
They could have built in stipends for accommodation and transportation.

well it z gud but quite stressful.it wld ve been beta if d accomdatn was taken care of and transportatn won't be an issue also.

I think calling of the third batch should be when the second batch is rounding up, cos that's how we were called,as in towards the end of the first batch,and if you do the maths we will be looking at 2nd of 3rd week of december
