Kai stop it-sleep is not the same as death pls.Diamond pays 80k as allawi in ur first six month ONL Yafter which ur ar upgrade to 2.8M which is now 3.4M following the new increase access pays 101K for ur first one year hopefully u move to ET2 17ok if u are denied salary increase after two years, the trend is U move to other banks such as dimond GT or FBN. For higher pay after ur two year bond expires- Union is 130'k for ur first two years of joining fresh hopefully u may never go beyond this pay for even 3yearrs
.However Union bank may correct the pay to a higher figure in dis recent recruitment cos the have plans of changing many things about their structure as they embark on this re-engineering project
one thing most people are not taking into consideration is that there is a new board in place and the norm is no longer the case...so much cannot be spent on organising assessment center and they will now pay 'peanuts'...i believe guys shld keep the faith and give it a shot.we've got nothing to lose.All da best!!!

@musco, union pays 46k for trainees and Diamond pays 80k for that position.
After confirmation, Diamond pay around 230k and Union pays around 150k...
Confirmation for Diamond Bank is 6 mths and i guess that of Union is more

Just a kind of contribution. The pay package of Union Bank is 2.5per annum wc is not competitive enough 4 now. M̶̲̥̅♈ younger broda wrks wit d bank. But U̶̲̥̅̊ guys shd put it at d back of ur mind that salaries in banks do flunctuat. M̶̲̥̅♈ broda got offers wit FBN n UBN last three years and den UBN salary packag was better dan D̶̲̥̅̊α̇̇̇̊τ̲̣̣̥ of First Bank but now d reverse is d case. S̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴̴̴͡ there is hope D̶̲̥̅̊α̇̇̇̊τ̲̣̣̥ ur offer letter will read a fatter pay with d recapitalisation process D̶̲̥̅̊α̇̇̇̊τ̲̣̣̥ UBN just concluded and with the new GMD D̶̲̥̅̊α̇̇̇̊τ̲̣̣̥ will b board by October in person of Mr. Emeka Emuwa who is presently d MD of Citibank Ltd.
