@nycee. Search for people on this forum who are already in diamond bank training school. They would be able to give you info on diamond bank. Then, you would be able to compare and choose the better offer.
Just got a call 4 my medicals in lag scheduled 4 mon and tue.i did my AC at abj 3wks ago
Nycee, you may also want to take the offer that comes first o, which is obviously union bank. If you drop union bank and something funny now happens with diamond bank, you wont like yourself o. Choose union bank. A bird in hand......

DBank plc is almost 700k higher dan this , does not come with a bond of 2M and considering the rising profile as the 8 largest bank in nigeria , staff trained in diamond ve higher chances of being picked by other banks @ least after 1 year of resumtion-such banks like FBN,ACCESS,FCMB,GT,fidelity, would certainly be MORE intereted in diamond breeds--However,the waiting period in diamond is LONGER and trainings are More rigorous nd highly demanding. one can't claim to have a diamond employment until one scales tru the 6months probation after which the real offer letter worth triple millions ,will be put in ones hand.Its another way to say that some diamond peeps waiting since March 2011 may still be found waiting to be employed by febrary 2013. The Job security in both both banks are just. the SAME
@seunfoster if u av FAITH u cud simply turn down UBN nd wait for ur investments in other job areas to mature - I tell u peeps in accessbank( first class , 2.1) sign same 2M(2 years) bond for a 101k par month pay - The terms to this UBN contract are quite tight, -yet the summary of it simply put is - ONCE YOU ARE IN WITH UBN , IT COSTS 2M plus TO CHANGE ELSEWHERE! SO BEWARE-

@jidehendrick u wil agree with us all that this UBN offer is one of the best in town now! Bond sud not disturb u if u av good intentions for the bank - they av giving u their best offer as officer 111 -the best u can give now is ur TIME ( 2 years).U may not even like to move to another bank there after so pls feel free to accept the BOND and accept the responsibilities and enjoy the pay(especially if one does not av alternative offers at hand)

wel @seudocode u r rite. i spoke 2 one of my frends who joined UBN in 2009 and he said d d bond was operational den, some left bcos other offers. one got a job wit CBN, so he paid d balance of abt N1.35m. others were N850k etc dependin on hw much of the 2yrs was remainin 4 dem b4 its completion. 4 him, he's stil wit UBN abuja where he was posted 2 in 2009. he adviced me 2 take d offer sayin its a gud place 2 start one's career. as 4me other offers r stil pendin FBN,Stanbic IBTC&recently Guinness. its wel, may God direct me &us all

Zebbie..I tink u shd go wt union..reason being dt,am sure zenith has dir own clause2 wt lesser pa..anywa,dnt knw more bout zenith bt Kpmg..recruitment process is realy krazy and time consuming..plenty stages...unless uve sum1 pushn it4 u..pay is lyk half of wt union is offering..am sure dy v dir own contractual agreements done..bt in terms of moving into oda sectors, ul ve greater opportunities cos its a great training ground..bt if I was in ur shoes,I'll choose union..chill dre,still go4 d oda 2's recruitment process as they cropup,dn weigh ur options

my guyz,do u know what, just tear the UBN offer letter so that you can wait for the kpmg and zenith, i really advised you to tear it now, so that you will know how to decided, u will see breakthrough if you take my advice cos 'Once shy twice beaten' beat kpmg and zenith then shy away from UBN by just tearing the offer letter, please do me a favour, slap the HR
