Received an interview invite frm Union Bank, anybody wit similar invite?
Got an incomplete sms this morning. Excerpts - Kindly note: The date of the interview is July 10, 2013, and not July 7, 2013. Sender was UBN HR.
What interview are they talking about? Recall writing their test at Chams PH sometime last year.
If anyone in the house has more info on this please kindly share.

I lost the yahoo mail address I used for that application so any correspondence via mail will be lost. It's almost a year now.
I'll advice Ɣ☺U̶̲̥̅̊ to call union bank head office and explain everything to them I think Ŧђɑ̤̥̈̊ŧ is †ђξ only way Ɣ☺U̶̲̥̅̊ can get †ђξ full details about †ђξ interview.
folks got same invitation. buh I cant remember whn I wrote the exam or wat I applied for. I only recall an exam done last year or so whr they even sent the scores later. What should we be expecting in the interview and how conducive is their working environment? finally, wetin be their pay??? any ideasss

Wat was d content of ur text and d venue? Cos they conducted interview in lagos all thru may and june. i had mine on June 12. Thot dey hav concluded d proces by June ending...

The salary is 2.5m per annum. 2.25m after deductions plus what they call variance - 250K - dependant on your performance in the year.
The pay is pretty good o. Better than what I earn now.
Might just go if I get all the interview details and get the opportunity to escape from work.
The uncertainty/insecurity in banking makes one have a second thought.

@NDU its connected to d dragnet test in Feb 2012...@UME its not like a regular interview, rather it's an assesment center...u wil b given case studies to solve and make presentations, after dat a group discusions wit d UBN staff watching u guys and takin notes...gudluck

@NDSUREMAN, my source is waterproof. He also wrote the February 2012 test and resumed late last year. Looks like I'll be in PH for the interview on the 10th. The fun will be a welcome change.
@Rvplegend. r u serious. dat is not bad at all. u knw how much d pay is during d training? and y dem no conduct all d interview alongside others last yr. Hope say ur man don brief u wella on wetin we suppose expect for d interview?
GOOD. I had my interview with UBN about this time last year.
Hint:
Interview was in 2 phases.
phase 1:
Each person was given a 2 page report from sales rep of a coy. We studied the reports individually and answered the questions that followed. Each interviewee was presented before 3 man panel to discuss the studied report. questions were asked based on the report. ( be bold. comm well)
phase 2:
We were organized into sub groups n teams. each group was led into diff rooms to study, discuss and analyze diff business, work and life scenarios. Team members contributed but were graded by *onlooking panelists seated round each team. The scenarios were many. Only a few mins were given for study. ( study fast and choose carefully ur style of participation n contributions)

All you need is confidence. Speak clearly and well. Dress formal. If you don't have a suit, buy or borrow one. Don't show up in pants and shirt only. Cut your hair low and neat. Get rid of any "bear bear". When you arrive, try and engage other candidates in small talk, that way you gauge their intelligence and articulation which gives you an edge when it's time for the group exercise.
If you were expecting any "expo" from those who've done the assessment already, sorry you are on a long thing!

They said 6-8weeks. That makes it between end of August and first weeks of September.
