QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITIONS WITH METHOD OF APPLICATION
Computer literacy is required for all positions.
1. Professor (CONUASS 07): Applicants must be authorities in the relevant field with Ph.D degree or Post-graduate Fellowship specialist in the relevant field (for the College of Health Sciences) from any reputable University/Institution with substantial scholarly publications. Applicants must have had at least TEN (10) years University full-time teaching and research experience with ability to initiate and supervise research projects. Administrative experience will be an advantage. Successful applicants must be able to give academic and professional leadership in the field.

2. Reader (CONUASS 06): Same as for 1 above, except that eight (years of University full-time teaching and research experience is required.
3. Senior Lecturer (CONUASS 05): Same as 1 and 2, except that six (6) years of experience is required.
4. Lecturer I (CONUASS 04): Candidates must normally possess a Ph.D degree in the relevant field or for the College of Health Sciences, a basic degree in Medicine (MB:BS) and Postgraduate Fellowship Three years of post-doctoral teaching and research experience is required except for the College of Health Sciences.
5. Lecturer II (CONUASS 03): A Ph.D degree or MB:BS in the relevant field.
6. Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS 02): Candidates must have Master’s degree in the relevant field.
7. Graduate Assistant (CONUASS 01): Candidates must have a degree with a minimum of Second Class (Upper Division) in the relevant field.
LIBRARY
Deputy University Librarian (CONUASS 06) - Candidates should normally possess a minimum of M.L.S. Degree. Additional post-graduate degree of Ph.D in Library Science or in allied discipline will be an added advantage. Candidates should have had at least ten (10) years of continuous working experience in a University setting, with post graduate Library Science qualification. Candidates must have appropriate quality and quantity of academic publications.

i Senior Programmer (Web and Dbase Administrator) (CONTISS 09):
Candidates must have B.Sc./B.Tech/HND Computer Science, plus five (5) O’ level Credits including English Language and Mathematics. Candidates with a university degree must have four (4) years working experience, while those with HND must have six (6) years working experience. A Master degree will be an added advantage.

i. Directors in the Registry and Vice-Chancellor’s Office: (CONTISS 15):
• Candidates must possess a good University degree from a recognized University with five (5) O’level Credits including English Language.
• Candidates must have completed the NYSC scheme or provide evidence of exemption, with at least fifteen (15) years post-qualification experience, most of which should be in a University, allied institution or Regulatory bodies.
• Candidates must, in addition to possessing high quality communication skills, should also have excellent analytical, presentation and statistical skills, with an in-depth knowledge of ICT.
• Possession of a higher degree and membership of relevant professional bodies would be an added advantage.
• Must have held a minimum of the position of Deputy Registrar or equivalent for not less than 5 years.

Candidates must have at least fourteen (14) years relevant post qualification working experience, most of which must be in University Administration. Candidates must possess five (5) O’ level Credits including English Language and Mathematics, plus a Bachelors degree (B.Sc/B.Eng/B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with special area of interest in networking. Candidates must have at least three (3) years working experience.

Candidates must possess five (5) O’ level Credits including English Language and Mathematics, plus a good University degree in Computer Science or any other relevant discipline. Candidates must have at least three (3) years working experience preferably in a higher institution setting, with proven skill in web programming and management.

Candidates must possess five (5) O’ level Credits including English Language and Mathematics and a B.Sc. in Accountancy/ Accounting from a recognized Institution plus membership of professionally recognized Accountancy body: ICAN, ANAN, ACCA or its equivalent with fourteen (14) years relevant working experience in a Higher Institution.
ii. Chief Accountant (CONTISS 13) :
Candidates must possess a minimum of first degree in B.Sc. in Accountancy/ Accounting from a recognized University with five (5) O’ level Credits including English Language and Mathematics. In addition, the candidates must be members of at least one of the professional bodies: ICAN, ANAN, ACCA or its equivalent with twelve (12) years relevant working experience in a Higher Institution.
iii. Chief Executive Officer (Stores) - (CONTISS 13):
Candidates must possess the following requirement: SSCE/GCE/(O/L) or its equivalents with five (5) credits in the relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language, plus HND in Purchasing and Supply Management or Advance Certificate in Store Keeping part I and II of the Nigeria Institute of Purchase Supply Management with at least fourteen (14) years working experience from a recognized Institution.
iv. Post of Senior Procurement Officer/Principal Stores Officer (CONTISS 09):
Candidates must possess the following requirement: SSCE/GCE/(O/L) or its equivalents with five (5) Credits in the relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language, plus HND in Purchasing and Supply Management from a recognized Institution. Candidates must possess a University degree in LL.B. & B.L and must have at least fifteen (15) years post call to bar experience with at least five (5) credits in the relevant subjects including English Language. The LL.M will be an advantage. Candidates must be vastly experienced in litigation.

i. Director of Physical Planning Unit (CONTISS 15):
Candidates must possess SSCE/GCE (O/L) or its equivalents with at least five (5) credits in the relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics and a good University degree in Engineering or Architecture with at least fifteen (15) years post qualification experience respectively , particularly in the Planning, Designing and Execution of Public Buildings, Operation and Maintenance of Engineering Service Systems, including Sewage, Transportation and Telecommunications in Public Institutional undertaking. In addition, applicants must be registered members of appropriate professional bodies in Nigeria, i.e. COREN or ARCHON.
ii. Deputy Director of Physical Planning Unit (CONTISS 14):
Same as for Director, except that twelve (12) years post qualification experience

Deputy Director of Works (CONTISS 14) :
WORKS DEPARTMENT
Candidates must possess SSCE/GCE (O/L) or its equivalents with at least five (5) credits in the relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics plus a good University degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) and with at least nine (9) years post qualification as a Council for Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) Registered Engineer most of which must be in a University. Possession of a higher degree will be an added advantage. Candidates currently on grade level less than CONTISS 13 in the University system need not apply. Candidates must have not less than fifteen (15) years cognate experience in Facilities Project Management and Contract Administration. Successful candidates will be reporting directly to the Director of Works.
