Irresponsible bank. They always advertise but hardly recruit.

The bank na runs bank, they know what they are doing.....1st Class or no 1st class we are all graduates, with even better prospect.GOD WILL HELP US

My guy wey talk abt bribing & sorting 2 make 1st class,dt ur statement sound as if u dey beef pple wey make d 1st class. Well as d sayin goes one man's meat is anoda man's poison. I agree wit sum of u dt everyone shud be given equal opportunity irrespective of their grade bt attimes an employer may require a certain grade 4 a particular job 4 reasons best known 2 dem. I dnt see any of u complaining 4 job vacancies wit a minimum requirement of 2.1,abi no be pple get 2.2 & 3rd class. My interest sef na how much dem go pay 4.

I did not just graduate with First Class, I graduated with First Class (Upper).

I have filled the form for like 3 times now, the problem is whenever I click SUBMIT, I wake up from my deep sleep! What is the way forward?

It's as if you didn't school in nigeria, abi? you don't know how the system works. I've seen 3rd class with more brains than our 1st class. that's why no nigerian university is among the top 500 in the world. our results aren't really a testimony to reading hard or not

Sorry people, I understand your frustrations. I may (or may not) have had a first class but I want to speak up for the first class people in the house who hav surprisingly remained quiet through this whole thing. First, I am a job seeker like you guys and I believe its God and God alone that brings prosperity and success not ones degree. I know a third class grad that is a Manager today in one of the big banks in Nigeria. His attitude defined him and opened doors (which were normally shut) for him. He did not let his degree class define his future. He was determined to be successful. But let me just make a few other points clear:

1. No1 can buy a first class degree in Nigeria. We all would like to console ourselves by believing this nonsense, but sadly, it is untrue. Maybe you can buy a 2:1 but definitely not a first class!

2. Theres only one way to obtain a first class, and that is through hardwork and consistency. Maybe this is the quality that this bank is looking for in their graduates (hardwork that yields results!). Sometimes, people work hard but dont get the best results. This is the case for SOME people.

3. These first class graduates have not wronged you. I understand that you think its wrong for the bank to recruit only first class grads, but dont take out ur frustrations on the first class ppl by insulting them and continuosly belittling their efforts. It is a very wrong attitude and you know what they say about bad attitudes........

4. All of us here, if we could have all had our ways, would be very happy to have a first class honours degree. No lie! Just the truth.

5. Of course, getting the job because of one's degree class is one thing, performing and exceeding expectations on the job is another.

6. Whilst you may have encountered first class grads who are dumb as you say, it is only senseless to generalise all of them as such.

So please guys, celebrate others that one day people will celebrate you.

Without doubt Stanbic IBTC or- Wateva they call themselves-are MAD. But house at least make una still praise those of US wen get '1st Class' , e no easy,LOL.... Experience show say most pple wit less dan 1st class na them smart pass,sharp pass,think out of d box pass,'RUN' things pass,Perform better in aptitude tests.....D list is endless. However I hail 1st class bros dem,Una too like book. ADVICE:@House Make una no vex. As for SIBTC, make una go sleep!!!
