I got a text from a suppose Shell HR thus: Shell pet Dev coy(SPDC) has deemed it necessary to offer you the employment. Forwardyour safety maritime certificate and collect your employment form,shell is a safety company that requires this certificates,Contact the PM. Dr Reuben Udofia,Human resources Mrg. (SPDC).
The only question i asked is: just like that?
@ allenchori, I received d message too last nite at about 10pm, but i dont really have the safety or maritime certificate dey r requesting for. plz how can one get d certificate and how do we contact the PM?

I doubt a multi-national such as Shell will offer employment without you sitting for a test and going through the whole interview process...please be wise.
d question is will SHELL send a text just like that?no harm trying as long as no money is spent!

As had been said in another of dis kind of situation: this issue had been responded to upto abut a 1000 time- it's SCAM!
U r expected 2 talk 2 someone abut d cert'. Since u may not hv it u'll be ask 2 pay- and d arrangement is suppose 2 be btw u & d runs man who wil fix u d cert'....

My people,its scam bcos i got a message by December last year and i was later told that if i dont have marine/safety certificate,i will need to send 30,000 for d two certificate.imagine someone that want to give u employment telling u to bring money and later informed u that they have done d certificate for u again,my people lets ask our self this question:Do we register on there site?can we be given employment without any exam or interview,pls watch na scam.

I received the text too,But if anyone in the house know the Email we r suppose to send the Document to let him post it here,cos i have ALL the Safety and maritime Certificates,I want to know the excuse the Fraudster will use.I am not moved with the text tyhey sent to me.

Brothers,dont burther urselvs,i got the mesage too and mooved down to shell with my maritime and HSE certificates,i was allowed inside by the police men since i showed them the text,but wen i got to the PM and human resources,i was told its a scam and that all shell recrutment are done online thir web and that was not there English format.they told me that they hire marine safety but not tru dis manner.am from Rivers state.disregard deez tiefs.
